DEALERS DUMPING CARS! EVERYONE IS GOING BROKE!
In this video you will get to see what car dealers are actually paying for their cars and trucks at auction!
My name is Brandon and I am a used car dealer. I created Car Questions Answered to share the ins and outs of the used car market from my perspective. I share with you updates on car prices, what's happening at the dealer auctions, and what it's like being a dealer. My goal is to share information to help you make the best decisions while buying a car to save you money. I do not want car dealers taking advantage of you.
Thanks for watching and please feel free to leave any comments you may have in the section below!

OR 2) Gamble that the cost you pay in premiums is less than what you would have had to pay to have COVERED expenses. 3) Of course then you would also have to considering the time value of money. 4) You would have to be a better actuary than the ones for the company that set the prices so the Insurer makes a lot of money. New cars EVs and non-EV sales have slowed considerably. I know this. My wife's nephew use to make really good money in new car sales - his last pay check was $250 and he was shorted money dealer so low on money they playing tricks with his money. What they shorted him was still too low so he just gave up on asking. Sales people moving around from dealer to dealer thinking it better over there, but it is not, many looking to leave the car sales business. He's looking to leave. Like I see that, cars are not selling - what I don't see is why the prices are still so high. I'm seeing junk here at this used car auction sold for big dollars - it doesn't make any sense.

Straight drive is a very regional thing probably just a NC area thing. Stick shift/manual most notable term especially with the older generation is called “standard”

When I was a kid, all our cars were stick shifts. I leaned how they worked pretty young because my grandparents would always ask me to shift the gears for them due to shoulder issues. I also had a dirt bike that I had to change gears on. When I took Driver's Ed, however, the cars were automatics. I didn't know how to drive them. 😆Now, I don't think I'd go back to driving a straight until I absolutely had to because automatics are so easy and convenient. 🙂

Prices here at Manheim and Adesa in Chicago and Milwaukee are still crazy. Part of the reason is the large dealer groups keep everything that makes sense, and they will bounce the aged inventory form store to store. The selection is thin for anything that is good, most of what is out here id Kia, Hyundai and Nissan product that are very needy. The national fleet consignors are selling units and have selling within reason.

@4:30 - This is 100% the case. Lexus is the same way. We got a 2004 ES330 with flawless, extensive dealer service record for every owner that ever had it. Oil changes, regular scheduled maintenance, fluid changes, the whole nine yards. Got it for 8K cash with 134K on the clock. Looking forward to another 10 years with this one. Our 08 RX 350 has 250K on it. We got it at 130k with all the same dealer records. Nice buy if you can find one. I did replace 6 plugs and 6 coil packs on the RX after we bought it. I was getting misfires.

As always, another fun informative video, as a side line to your vehicle business why not look into other products, without knowing the activities within your locality it’s difficult to make suggestions. But let’s say low priced boats, maybe low value off-road type vehicles, always opportunities around, because you are very level headed and will not gather stock without knowing your buy price allows reasonable margin for you and reasonable sell costs for the buyers, I am sure a addition to your sales would allow some variation for your viewers and a little expansion for your income…..
