Thank you for this. I just replaced mine thanks to this video. I didn't need to remove the coolant reservoir. But that last hose clamp is a pita lol I finally got it but man!

Great video! What is the purpose of the aux fuel pump? I'm used to just a lift pump and injection pump. Thanks in advance

Awesome, you don’t have to remove the coolant res etc, that plastic clip that holds the hoses just slides up and out, and then you move the hoses, would have saved you an hour. Other than that great video helped me a lot

I have also Jetta TDI 1.6 2012 but I can’t find the aux pump. Seems like my car came without it.

I got wet pump on my and it doesn't wona start is it possible that this pump is a cause of not starting?

Yes or intank pump as well

What was the problem with Aux pump ?? Couldn't you have repaired the pump? Instead of replacing

I don't remember at this point, and the short answer is no, typically we don't "repair" components like we used to, replace everything. It's disappointing how much stuff we throw away.

at this point I don't remember, but likely Worldpac or some other distributor, I don't source the parts.. I just tell my service writers what I want and they get it.
