"I wanted to be able to hear the movie." True 🤣🤣 I saw Black Panther in theaters first week in DC and I still didn't know what happened until two years later when I saw it on TV. It was still a great experience, but mostly because of the energy in the room.

I saw 300 with a mostly black female audience and they were all freaking out about the hot guys the entire time lol - when Xerxes got on screen the first time this black lady was like OHH HELLLL NO and had to get up and walk around the entire theater for a minute and sit back down thats how big he was :D

@@OKOYA66 Shows have been using laugh tracks for decades, most laugh tracks were recorded 40+ years ago. Probably why this laugh track sounds like a bunch of posh white people laughing instead of a normal crowd laughing.

Man, I saw Black Panther when it was first released & that was the day I became homeless.. movie was so good, it's made the ground just a little softer😐.. first time anybody looked at a movie based on a black character in Africa & was like, "he living better than me".. besides Coming to America..😶 #mmhm

The best time to see a movie with black people in the audience is when the movie has subtitles. That way I can spend more time enjoying the plot and characters while others read aloud what the characters are saying

Black Panther was good but Klaw should've been the main antagonist. His apathy for everything around him would've been a good contrast to Black Panther's protector role. It would've been like the unstoppable force meets the immovable object. Michael B Jordan wasnt believable as Kilmonger. It's like he was trying too hard.

My daughter does not stop talking/asking questions during a movie. I’m a watch the movie, discuss it at the end type. I’ve told her a few times, you talk during the movie like a black person. I will have to show her this clip, because she has never experienced that. I still recall the midnight showing of one of the Jason movies when I was in high school filled with mostly black viewers. I’m not going to lie and say I didn’t laugh at some of the comments they were making....but I never had a movie experience like that before. Lol

It wasn’t good. T’challa is pretty bland, Shuri - well you know if you watched it, they had discount Phill coulsan. I’d have like Killmonger more if they let him be a little more sympathetic, he was clearly wronged by his T’challa dad, he’s right about wakanda doing nothing, but then you gotta make his entire plan irredeemable.

My biggest gripe with the movie was that Black Panther teamed up with a white CIA agent to fight a revolutionary. Kind of a perversion of black history if you ask me.

I’ll admit the plot was not some masterpiece or anything. The hype was more stemming for what a black hero meant to the community. I felt pride watching that movie somehow, that’s why it’d always be hyped up.

@@NukaCola514 Blade gets so overlooked these days but the first two movies were huge hits. His first movie predates the X-Men and Raimi Spidey trilogy, might even have the honor of the first succesful movie based on a Marvel character if I'm not mistaken. Blade arguably paved the way for the entire superhero movie genre post 90's but so many people overlook him these days, hopefully he gets his due once he's in the MCU.

Black Panther was in no way good. It looked like a high school theater production. Terrible. And this is a laugh track. Pretty cool to see him approaching such new, fresh, and controversial topics on race, though. I mean... blacks people are loud in theaters?!?!? WOW! Hold the phone, man!
