I just noticed something while watching this for probably the millionth time - In "Requiem", Zoe angrily sings that "No one lights a candle to remember." But in this animatic, she holds a lit candle up to her face and starts sobbing as she imagines Connor's ghost in front of her.

The fact that Michael from "Be More Chill" is in the audience gives me life.

Zoe’s part gives me chills every time. Could you imagine not only the pain of Zoe realizing that she ignored someone who she truly loved the whole time, and didn’t get to show him anymore, but also Connor watching powerlessly as the tragedy of the song “If I Could Tell Her” kicks in? The face Connor makes in this animatic kills me. Every. Time.

I actually got to see the musical on Broadway and the part that made me cry the most, was the moment in You'll be found, when Conners dad breaks down. He hold himself up over the whole show but at that moment he just falls down and cries and that's okay.

I actually feel bad for Connor cause imagine if he could see everything that’s happening he would see his parents getting a someone who actually listens to them and acts as a good son he would see his sister getting a boyfriend that’s love her he would see how everyone is happy and better without him he would see how in reality he didn’t matter cause the Connor everyone thinks and remembers with love is not the real Connor is the Connor that Evan created the real Connor got forgotten and replace by an ilusión of himself created by someone else

I love how the song revolves around the phrase “you will be found” like that’s what Evan wanted. And then in For Forever, Evan imagined that he was not alone. That just made the line “you are not alone” hit deeper for me.

@ 3:49, a bunch of people raise their hand. I find this specific moment inspiring for one reason. Each hand is different. There is the one with the bracelet, the one with the tattoo, the one on a t-shirt, the one in a sweatshirt and what caught my eye right away, the arm with scars. This is SO important because no matter who you are and what you are facing there is always someone who wants to love you if you reach out your hand. Like if you found this moment as inspiring as I did

When I saw Jeremy and Michael I was really happy because I'm sure this would have helped them realize that they really aren't losers and that they belonged.

Honestly, this song hit me really hard. At times I feel lonely, and kinda unappreciated, and even in 2:53, with all those voices I felt overwhelmed. But just the general meaning, the melody, and the diversity in all those characters you've drawn, showing that no matter who you are you are not alone. There will always be someone there, even if you haven't met them yet you will.

I think the waterworks really started when I saw the BMC, Heathers, and Persona references. Excellent work on this animation!

Okay, I might need a minute. Let me try and vocalise my thoughts. This is one of my favourite songs, I love it so much ever since I first listened to it. When I first saw the thumbnail, I’ll be completely honest, it didn’t look amazingly interesting. But I decided to watch it anyway, and I’m glad I did. There are so many small details about this animatic that just make it so much better. Michael and Jeremy being in the crowd, the idea of all of the faces surrounding them and then joining the three. Surrounding them and holding hands, showing support. The idea of all of those hands being different when they’re raised into the air. When Zoe held the candle and started crying along with the music was so powerful. Your art style is so good for this animatic, it’s very simplistic but is so cute and fitting. You can easily tell who each character is and they don’t all have the same face like some animators. The ending frame is so cute, and all of the other people lifting him up. Something I forgot to mention, but at the beginning, when the lyric says “like you could fall, and no one would hear.” it zooms in on Jared. It’s like he’s realising the truth about how Evan fell from the tree. And Connor joining at the end was so sad, I’m getting emotional. Help I think that’s everything, but honestly I really enjoyed this animatic more than I thought I would. Well done 😁😄

I have no idea why, of all places, I've decided to vent on a KZfaq video of some DEH animatic, but here I am. No one will probably see this anyway, but it still helps. Anyway, a little back story to my life. I'm just some average girl, the chubby one that sits in the corner and doesn't usually talk much, but can be chatty at times. I suppose some people like me, and I *do* have friends (just one really close one, but yeah). Still I struggle a lot with weight and self esteem, and I do have depression. Regardless, my family is loving, but we do have our problems. I have issues with my agression, and sometimes (a lot of times, actually) I yell at my mom. My mom is currently struggling with self esteem and constantly feels suicidal thoughts, and I know I only make life harder for her. We used to be so close, *I* used to be such a nice kid who'd listen to her problems. But now I'm always depending on her, yelling at her, and just thinking everything will be okay. But it isn't. My actions are *killing* her, literally. Physically, and mentally. So I'm not the victim, but the villain. And yet I still cry myself to sleep every other night feeling sorry for myself when I have no right to be upset. *I'm the villain* ... Right? *I'm* the one who's hurting this poor woman who's just the sweetest mom in the world. So why am I crying? Why do I feel as if I deserve love? Wow, okay, that's a lot. Probably shouldn't be sharing my life story with a bunch of strangers online, but again... This'll just get lost in the sea of comments. Here goes nothing...

I love how you made Jared look much more like a real friend towards Evan. In my opinion, even though he was often sarcastic and kept some distance, he really wanted to be friends with him, but because Evan was afraid to open up to anybody, Jared didn't recognise his needs. Tbh the part, when Jared says that he only spends time with Evan because he wants to get money for his car insurance sounds either like a joke or a really bad excuse. And the fact that he helped a lot with the Connor project or just that he kept his mouth shut about Evan's lie also must mean something.

Got to be honest, the first time I heard this song I thought, "This is some corny crap right here why does everyone like it so much?" But then I watched this animatic and tried to really listen to the words, the melody, and the message, and I have to tell you, I finally appreciate the song.

Okay first of all every part of this is fantastic. I love the way both Alana and Jared are drawn in this, the goosebumps I got when they pulled Evan up that path of light at 4:14, LOVE LOVE LOVE the cathartic shot of Zoe *finally* breaking down and grieving for Connor at 5:01, but weirdly my favorite part might be the front row of the audience 1:47? Like it's such an understated shot but it blows me away how much human emotion you conveyed with with a few pencil marks. We knew *exactly* what each person in that row was feeling and not a single one of them had eyeballs or noses or even a whole mouth lol. It's so wild how complex human emotions can be condensed like that. Have been binge-watching this on loop for like two days. Incredible work. I'm glad this got the views it deserved.

Ok, I'll be completely honest: I underestimated this song. Really. But this animatic showed all the power in this. This is so beautiful and amazing and I dont have many words in my mind that can describe this beautiful creation, but I tried.

This video made me cry, it touched my heart. I was feeling very depressed and unworthy for a lot of time, and I just was blaming myself for everything, and I didn't see, didn't believe that I can be found, loved and just too weak and hopeless to live. And now I'm crying - because I realize that it's not true. All that I need is to see me and reach a hand to myself. Thank you. You literally saved my life with this powerful animatic. This is such a masterpiece that was created with soul. I wish everyone could hear this song to remember about love - you deserve to have people caring about you, you deserve to be yourself, even if you always have doubts that you can be happy by being yourself

This song... I am so glad it was made. Typically, when I'm having a rough day, I listen to this song. In my friend group, I'm always in the shadows. Always. And yesterday and today, it has been some of my roughest moments. Trying not to hurt myself, cracking jokes about my depression and inability to sleep like a normal being and my eating habits (or lack thereof), combined with making up a week's worth of schoolwork and new work from this week. It's been a pretty deep toll, and there's been moments where I left my scissors with a friend. But this song? Gods. It's like a lifeboat. Someone actually dragging me clear from the shadows, not just constantly pointing at me like my girlfriend does. This song is honestly a lifesaver. Especially now that I've gotten a bit more into the fandom, and have come to realize that I sympathize with the fandom's Connor Murphy a whole lot. Growing apart from a younger sibling. A father being almost absent. Unfortunately, I don't really have a mom who tries. But, I've got my songs, and when my mental health allows me to see it, I've got my friends. And most of all, I've got You Will Be Found.

Like I know I have friends and family that care about me, but there are moments where it just feels like I don't matter, like nobody would miss me if I disappeared tomorrow. The thing is, I know that's not true, but those feelings still crawl in at times. It's always good to be reminded that no matter what, whatever you may be going through, whatever you might feel at the time, you don't have to go through it alone.
