My name is Erik Douds and I am an adventure filmmaker and educator living with type 1 diabetes. I create content for top outdoor brands like REI, Pearl iZUMi, Arc’Teryx, Revo, Adventure Cycling, Sea to Summit, and BioLite. Trips include biking the Trans America Trail, running the Copenhagen marathon, and touring Alaska.

Erik, I love what you are doing for the T1D community and badass awareness that you are raising across the country for T1D. I got to meet Cassidy at our JDRF Young Leadership Committee Silicon Valley happy hour the night you were at Open Insulin and it was great hearing what y’all had done on the tour so far. I loved following the Diabadass Tour to see what y’all did after.
