I really hope to see that day soon where mothers and women in general stop watching the same toxic morning shows with same stereotypical topics and switch to such meaningful and honest conversations of everyday reality that most of us are living in. Pakistan really needs to promote the podcast culture more. I really hope you take your podcast to radio soon, it needs to reach every Pakistani despite their gender. Really good initiative. More power to you and I hope to see your channel grow with every passing day.

Loved this podcast! In a middle class household they only care about their family values and what a girl should do in her in laws house and all sorts of responsibilities... They make sure that the girl is of a young age so that they can mould her into her family values and culture instead of understanding her passion and life goals. In fact the guy is also a victim of their parents needs and wants. The guy and the girl both are compromising in this so-called family culture issues. They can't decide their future on their own just feel pressurized and looking up for their parents / in-laws and their examples that we should live our life accordingly because they're programmed to do and think like that... It is toxic in many households because they're just expecting a newly married couple to understand all these things instead of understanding the era changes and the environment.... Our parents are becoming so strict towards their rules and laws that unfortunately they fail to understand their children and force them to do what they have been doing in their lifetime because they think they know the world and our young generation is not going to do things as intellectually as us.

Sometimes stability looks like lack of love due to past traumatic relationships (parental or romantic).. which is why most of the youngsters feel attracted towards a "bad boy" or someone who brings a lot of drama to their life. Because this kind of pattern feels familiar to them.

Also, love at first sight, everlasting passion, spark, such unrealistic ideas are normalized or romanticized due to Bollywood/Hollywood.. which is why everyone loves the honeymoon phase but they drift away when it comes to conflict. Self awareness and compassion towards the other person as humna and usra had said is rlly important for a long term relationship to sustain the lows of rlshp/life.

1st of all, you are discussing that topics, that are never ever discussed before and no one will discuss them because no one consider them to be discussed but these series of topics, specially the partner choosing, marriage related things, career Vs relationships and other relevant stuff, are need of the hour to be discuss. Thanks to you people that you are discussing these topics..

A boy's mother, initially pointing out flaws in a girl at her age/physique/dowry etc. at the time of rishta, is a major red flag for a girl's life ahead. Parents should absolutely avoid doing rishtas to such families, specially if your girl is talented and independent financially.

They say a man should be the provider, hes responsible for running a family. Hes nothing without being financially stable, having an established career. But on the other hand you say that in relationships career opportunities for women should be considered equally significant for example she gets a work oppurtunity abroad and i'm well settled in here but she wants to work there and she asks me to move with her and i know i would've asked her the same if she was settled here and i had to move abroad considering a better oppurtunity, the confusion is, whatever she earns shes not compelled to spend it on the family but whatever i earn i have the responsibility to take care of my family. Even in such simple scenarios it comes down to men being the ones to carve the path not the women. How should it be addressed? You are right with almost all of the wrongs or so called norms that are being followed but when it comes down to finances it gets very confusing to balance the needs and wants and at the same time to let your partner have the freedom to persue her career on her own will. To what extent do you think this pattern is wrong and how can we make it right?

It is a mans job to take care of the finances, women are freed from this responsibility... But they surely can and will help in need And secondly what society says and expects, koi poora nahi kar sakta...

The guest is incapable and has nothing to say guys! Come on cant u see what little she said was insanely ridiculous! Hamna is dense and how smartly she covered with her factual knowledge! The guest knowledge was utter non sense! May be what hamna could have done better was to invite her own mom or shireen gheba and talk on this sensitive topic who had succesful marriage lives ,their future secured and their children are well settled too Ma sha Allah. Their wise knowledge based on experience would do wonders for the young ladies. Again No offence to anyone.✌️

Hello! I understand but these podcasts are not guest based. Dear sister is topic based and anybody who has something to say can speak. It’s not an interview. 🤗 my other guest based podcasts, are more based on guests, their journeys and expertise. This is a conversation. ☺️

Lol its good that hamna spoke because she is far more experienced in family life than maida. What maida doesnt even know that habits never change , no matter what so it was good for hamna to take over because she knows what she is talking about. No offense to maida but hamna always invites inspiring women ,please dont lower down your intellectual and wise standard hamna.Your audience is far more mature with a good intellectual level.maida was completely wasted.

If we are talking about this specific podcast, you said almost everything right about Ikhlaaq, respect, trust, understanding, loyalty. Every point is linked to each other..and the point about Bonding and other things. If bonding is matched and other habits like talked about drinking habits, smoking are also there and which one to choose. What I want to say here is that, only a little things are talked about women that how to know them, you just talked "how to know about men". I respect your views please discuss the both sides of the picture. Right now what I'm facing and observing in society is that, men are facing more difficulties or you can say equal difficulties as women have. Most of the males and their families don't even have any demands. Literally I'm saying thag. Just, they want Good Ikhlaaq and respect and nothing else. But men are ignored only due to their financial instability and yes that's a big issue but, why don't you talk about that both will make their career together and grow together? That's also a possibility.. Please don't mind but this is what I'm thinking

She doesn't act smart. She's over smart that's why she's sitting there and you are here watching the video and commenting. That's why people like you are unable to digest whatever she has to say.. If you want to hear her alone don't watch the podcasts in which there are other people too.
