Almost 9 years ago, I got clean. The urge to use comes less often, and with each friend I've lost to opioids over the years I've been painfully reminded of why I've stayed clean for so long. Thank you for not sugar coating this reality.

It REALLY pissed me off that this short film only has a handful of views, yet stupid videos about fake pranks are trending. This message needs to be spread.

This hits close to home. I've lost 2 really close friends due to an overdose, a relapse after having some clean time. Another friend of mine took his own life because heroin destroyed it. I myself struggle with my sobriety as well. I will continue to fight..

To Thomas Bohn, in my opinion the narrative does not suggest having to be alone and miserable to overcome addiction, rather feeling alone and miserable are sadly the symptoms and emotional residues one must battle when struggling to overcome a past having been under the thumb of addiction. I find the the piece to be quite poetic and potent.

2 years, 1 month clean from fentanyl and cocaine. It can be done. But not everyone can make it out, unfortunately. I lost my 39 year old brother in 2015 to an OD. Life hasn't been the same since. I've since been down a lot of roads and to plenty places I swore I'd never end up in and doing the things I always promised myself I'd never do. I didn't plan to be a full blown needle junkie for 3 years after my brother died, but it happened that way cause I wanted the strongest coke rush possible no matter the method or consequence. Then the heroin became a problem and it was a vicious cycle. If you can avoid this life. Please do.
