As they basically say this battle could've gone either way and yeah it's ultimately the stamina thing and that thanks to his ability to steal speed would make it so that Wally is always faster

Reverse Flash vs Goku Black is definitely the next death battle you watch. It’s a nice end to the flash death battles. It’s honestly my favorite death battle even while not getting the outcome that I wanted. Also to clarify about Wally being faster. They said speed was almost a null point. Their speeds are incalculable however since Wally can steal speed, Wally would always be faster since he can supplement his own speed with Sonics.

Yes, but there are different forms of infinity. You could say sonic represents a real number type of infinity. 1,2,3,4.....etc into infinity. Where as wally is an irrational type of infinity. The infinity that exists between the real numbers. So instead of 1,2. Its 1, 1.1,1.01,1.001,1.0001,1.00001.....etc into infinity. Both are infinite yes but one is in a way infinitely bigger then the other

The counters that Flash have is that he could phase through Sonic's chaos powers, he stole Sonic's speed which made him faster, he could mess with time or molecules to erase sonic, and since Sonic has a time limit on his Ultra powers flash could wait it out while avoiding chaos magic. Overall the Speed Force gives more advantages for Wally

@@adnan_honest_jihadist5775 then you'd have to remove the chaos force from Archie Sonic because that s*** is OP too. You would literally have to get rid of every universe's OP design. So that means probably most of the stuff we read wouldn't be as fun. And at the end of the day that's all that matters, is that you enjoy what you're reading. These comics aren't meant for the debate, they are meant for reading. People are going to fight about it and get mad that something's OP then maybe they should just not talk about it to begin with

fun fact: the whole line about lex not knowing who flash is comes from the cartoon "justice league unlimited". in one ep, lex switched bodies with wally and was recking havoc across the watchtower. while he was hiding in on of the bathrooms, he decided to unmask himself and discover flash's secret identity. when he took off the mask and looked at himself, he said, "i have no idea who this is."

Sonic's super forms replenished his stolen speed, but Wally could always just steal more and never lose what he stole in the first place, so he'd be ever so slightly faster. Sonic's Chaos Energy being physical made it possible for Wally to avoid it by phasing through every possible attack, like his wish powers. Wally had better usage in his speed, like precise time travel, something Sonic couldn't do, so he had an advantage there. Essentially, Archie Sonic might have been Broken, Wally West was simply FUBAR. This fight really did come down to the wire and it was going to be Sonic's win at the last minute until a last minute discovery happened.

That’s the issue tho. In the Archie comics chaos energy is stated to be an energy that’s beyond 6D meaning that Chaos energy isn’t physical at all. Another thing they left out and downplayed was the implosion. The first thing they said was that sonic had snow on his shoes. So It must’ve been a wormhole instead of him being blasted that far away and surviving which simply isn’t true. If you go and read the comic that the panel was taken from you’ll clearly see that the “snow” in question is actually gas that can be seen all over the place not just on his shoe but Death battle just zoomed in on his shoes said it was snow and moved on. The last thing that was wrong about the implosion was the AP calculation now I’ll be honest I suck at math but I’ll explain the reason why I say they downplayed the calculation was because later In that arc we find out that sonic has set off a sequence of events that will destroy the entire Archie comic multiverse. Which includes everything from Megaman to Sabrina, the teenage witch and all their multiverses and different timelines were going to be destroyed. The crazy part is that implosion they talked about was one of these events that would lead to the end of the Archie comic multiverse meaning that implosion was felt on a 6th dimensional plane or higher. If it’s affecting the the universe outside the scope of Archie Sonic which is proven to be true then Mega-man comes and offers his help to sonic because he wants to protect his own multiverse from complete destruction

In an episode of Justice League, The Flash and Lex Luthor swap bodies. Luthor then goes into a bathroom and says that at least he will be able to figure out the Flash’s secret identity. He pulls the mask off and looks in the mirror saying “I have no idea who this is”

So the thing with Mega Man characters popping up in the comics, there was a collaboration series called Worlds Collide, followed by Worlds Unite, that had the Sonic and Mega Man franchises ending up in the same universe. I have both series of comics, they're an interesting read. But yes, I remember reading Sonic can move in stopped time and was just in disbelief lol

As a reader of both comics I have to agree with the results because Flash just consistently fights bigger threats, and while archie sonic has occasionally fought multivers ending characters he normally fights much more street level

In the black text box said Sonic's Chaos Magic are inconsistent sometimes and wouldn't work most of the times against Wally West since he can resisted Sonic's Magic (At least most of it)...Sure Speed didn't matter, it just that Wally can always steal Sonic's Speed to always make a difference...

Back when Wally West was the main Flash when it seemed like we lost Barey Allen in Infinite Crisis. The whole "Lex Luthor has no idea who this is*, it's from Justice League Unlimited where Lex and Wally switched bodies. It's kind of hilarious, Lex unmasked himself as Wally and had no idea who Wally was, and Wally proved that Lex is Pure evil because he didn't wash his hands.

I knew Flash would win since Wally is literally one with the speed force and faster than it which is insane, another key difference is Flash unlike Sonic(who needs amps to go faster), The Flash doesn't need any power amp gimmicks like emeralds, gems etc. Flash just has to tap deeper within his own power source which is the speed force essentially giving him unlimited potential lol. He can go as fast as he needs to go and is the fastest thing in existence in all fiction short of God himself. lol RIP Sonic haha. Great reaction, been a while since you both got it wrong. Has that ever happened? Great reaction guys! You guys are always entertaining and fun to watch! Beth's reaction at the end was priceless she was like "oh no he killed Sonic!" Once you guys get caught up on RWBY you might enjoy the a new movie that came out recently. It’s the DCxRWBY crossover that the fans have been wanting and waiting for. It’s awesome. Sonic and Eggman have a similar relationship to Batman and The Joker in that in some ways they depend on each other after so many years of fighting each other. I hope you guys watch one of my top favorite Deathbattles one day; it’s Black Widow versus Widowmaker.

I pretty much assumed the wish thing meant that, yes, wishes are an instant win but the wishes only take effect once they physically hit you, since Wally can phase, he can't be hit by it, its like surviving a gunshot because the shooter has bad aim

So this is a bit complex but I’ll try to simplify it. Wally is essentially immune to sonic’s reality warping. Sonic’s “fate” abilities relies on chaos control which used chaos “energy”. It’s low level reality warping that actually requires a sort of medium. It’d be different if sonic could literally just think something and warp reality with no need for chaos control but because it is energy Wally can actually vibrate fast enough to phase through it using what he calls an “energy prism” or even just avoid it altogether by escaping into the speed force which exists outside the multiverse and therefore would be outside the reality that sonic is looking to effect. So the reason he ultimately wins is because he has counters to all of sonic’s abilities and sonic has a time limit on his most powerful form unlike Wally. So once sonic is no longer in his most powerful form it’s light work for Wally

archie sonic is dark and crazy. i should know. i use to collect the comics back in the 90s. the comics expanded upon sonic's world and characters and had some incredible and dark storylines. but sadly, they had to stop due to ken penders being an absolute nutter.

Something I realized is that. If sonic has wish magic. Ehy couldn't he just wish away wallys speed altogether. "Chaos control. Wally west is unable to go above 10mph." Or even if sonic cannot touch wally, he's still invincible, I feel like there's enough time for sonic to just make a wish that prevented wally to time travel or take back any speed stolen. It's a debatable fight but I still loved it and loved you guys reaction. Have fun with the sonic movie!

The Lex Luthor not knowing who Wally West is, joke is one of my favourite for two reasons, one because it comes from the justice league animated series were they switch bodies and two because Michael Rosenbaum who voiced Wally West in that series also played Lex Luthor on smallville.

I think it wasn't only just stamina but the fact that while they were both broken Wally's feets were a little more so than sonics. And I think that's what gave him the edge. And while I do agree that their speeds were incalculable, Wally would technically always be faster because of his ability to steal speed. So they just didn't say a number because there was no number they could give. But I think the reason why they said It was a non-factor because without his ability to steal speed they would probably be roughly equivalent. But it was less the speed they gave him the edge and more his abilities. So that's why speed was a non-factor. Because the speed wouldn't have been an edge without the abilities

its not that they went with wally's reality changing because its wally. its the fact that wally can just phase through reality and alter it .remember how he can adapt to alien energy not of his own universe? so flash would eventually figure out how to counter chaos magic completely aside from absorbing/rerouting it because sonic can think/perceive/comprehend in 100 attoseconds. while Wally can think/perceive/comprehend in less that 1 attosecond. So he'd come up with a solution faster.

I think they explained why flash would usually win perfectly. Most of Sonic’s abilities involved physical force and speed, and Wally can guarante being faster since he can steal speed. Also he has better control over his molecules, allowing him to avoid the super-forms’ attacks and “wait it out” until he could win

A way to look at it is that both characters are infinitely fast so even if Flash absorbs half of Sonic's speed half of infinity is still infinite, so its really not much of a factor. Offensively Sonic has more than Flash as while the infinite mass punch is usually a show stopper it doesn't compare as much to just outright warping reality. Defensively they are also pretty much on par as in his super forms Sonic is outright invulnerable but Flash can phase through any attack, even those that warp reality of affect him on a moleculer level which ultimately cancels out both sides offensive abilities. In the end what it comes down to is that Sonic's super forms have a limited time frame while Flash doesn't so he can just wait for Sonic to return to base form, or travel through time to a point before Sonic went super or after he reverts back to regular Sonic. Both characters are incredibly broken and if Sonic was against anyone other than Flash it'd likely be a curb stomp in his favour, but Wally is on a whole other level to the blue blur.

Just to be clear, you two, this is sonic from the archie comics, the Sonic from the idw comics, and the games can't do any of this. I mean, obviously, the sonic from the games and idw comics are strong, but nowhere near as strong as archie sonic. That being said, I wasn't expecting you two to greatly underestimate him. Why? 😐

Big thing to remember: they look for who would win the MOST often. Sonic could EASILY win a solid amount of time due to his crazy powers, but Flash wins more times because of his even crazier powers. And yes, stamina is essentially the big difference.

Watch Macho Man Vs Kool Aid Man next. It’s one of the best and funniest battles ever made. Also watch Vegeta Vs Thor too. You’ll be amazed that how insanely powerful Thor is in the comics rather than his movie counterparts. Plus Shazam Vs Captain Marvel.

I still don't agree with the outcome of this battle. Death Battle has a habit of coming up with BS ways for the Marvel or DC opponent to win 90% of the time.

You ask these two characters how fast they are and they say yes lol. Both are insanely fast but Wally is still even more broken than archie sonic. Seriously the flashes are crazy powerful when they need to be! Recently Barry punched the anti-monitor, the guy who killed the multiverse, so hard he sent him through different universes with each punch! Do not mess with a flash! They draw power from one of the 7 divine forces of creation!
