In addition, most of the analysis weren't even canon, such as Mario tennis and 1995 Sonic OVA, and the list goes on. But the biggest disappointment was down-playing Sonic's speed.

@@silenttera666Mario has no stated canon, thus by his franchise’s unique continuity we kinda have to composite Mario to remotely make this fight fair. Since it would be an absolutely unfair stomp to just use Platformer Mario against Game Sonic. That’s also why Death Battle fused Classic Sonic and Modern Sonic together to make it balanced.

@@adnan_honest_jihadist5775 Too long. Didn't read. Also, stop the spam. Sonic never killed any gods. He either only weakened them or temporarily stopped them. (In all of these "feats" he was in his super form/had someone help him. Mario has actually destroyed gods before, all in his base form btw.)

On the other hand, same with Mario. Should Mario want, he can use infinite, Gold Flowers to turn him to coins, Time Stops to freeze time at will, Earlier Times to restart the battle from the start if ever needed, Pocket Chomps to summon infinite Chain Chomps, or just infinite Super Stars to turn him invincible, forever. Even if Sonic wins, Mario can have Retry Clocks that auto restart the battle for him upon defeat. It's literally, impossible to beat Mario without removing all of his items from the equation first

@@adnan_honest_jihadist5775 One thing to mention is we totally can't scale any of Sonic's feats to his Archie Comics variant. As Death Battle themselves say, his feats in the comics are way different and way, way more powerful than his feats he pulls off in game so we instead have to look to the games for what he can do. I mean, in game he can't even out run that purple energy in Sonic Colors. In the comics he was so fast he could move while time was stopped. He wasn't immune or resistant to time stop, he's just fast enough to move anyways, which should be impossible If you have anything to use as evidence to these speed and strength feats that isn't from Frontiers, since that game hadn't come out yet so there's no way they could "downplay" his feats from that game. Additionally, in all honesty we barely need to look at Super/Hyper Sonic feats since Mario can, well, turn invincible as well using a Power Star. And unlike Sonic who only has limited Super time (since he needs constant rings to keep it up) Mario has access to infinite stars and infinite invincibility due to his bottomless gloves So since Mario can stall out the super forms, we mostly just need to look at his base. And his base has no immunity to time stopping (Archie Sonic is immune because he's too fast, but game Sonic is not) so Mario can just stop time whenever and use something like the Gold Flower to turn him into coins, another thing he isn't immune to. Oh and just to toss out as a reason Sonic probably ain't FTL+ at base would be the Cyan Wisps. Claimed by Sonic himself to almost be as fast as him. Unless we're ranking Doctor Ivo Robotnik as FTL+ as well, well the fact that his forces can capture Cyan Wisps suggests the little blue guys are a bit slower than ftl. That and, well, Sonic seems to need special boots to do that "Light Speed Dash" trick which is dubious on how fast it really makes him go since in game it makes him fast, but visibly not that fast. Also only works on strings of rings and nowhere else. But if you have something that can prove that Sonic is in fact faster than Mario's reaction time I would appreciate seeing it. Which game shows him explicitly going that fast?

That’s why they didn’t include Archie Sonic, because they’re in two separate universes and treated as separate characters. Whereas Mario has always been the same person regardless of his appearance

Their older videos don’t get copyright but anything with Roosterteeth in the beginning will get a copyright claim. If you go to their website their is a faq there that says what needs to be done to get it removed. Also cutting out Boomstick and Wiz interludes where they make jokes helps as does not using the video audio but using Camera mic picking up audio. Hope this helps and you can always dispute copyright claims when it is a reaction video 🙂
