Can you upscale these when you print them?
@Gambody_com

Thank you for your question! The Death Star I model comes in two scales to suit different 3D printers. For the FFF/FDM version at 1:400000 scale, it measures 301 mm in height (444 mm on a stand), 301 mm in width, and 301 mm in depth. The DLP/SLA version at 1:800000 scale has dimensions of 150 mm in height (222 mm on a stand), 150 mm in width, and 150 mm in depth. However, the models available on our marketplace are high-poly and you can easily upscale them to an impressive extent without losing detail! For example, if you want to upscale the Death Star I and print the model at a 1:180000 scale, you will need to upscale the files by approximately 122% (i.e., print at 222%). When working on an upscaled project, it's important to ensure that all parts fit comfortably into the build volume of your 3D printer and are scaled consistently for easy assembly after printing. The exact dimensions of each part can be found on the model page in the "Source Files" section, specifically in the "Object Size" tab within the table: www.gambody.com/3d-models/death-star-i. We also want to let you know that when you purchase from the Gambody marketplace, you not only get the high-poly 3D printable model STL files but also lifetime technical support, all included in the price of the model. Whether you need adjustments to fit your printer's build volume or other modifications, our Moderation Team is here to assist you every step of the way! We also invite you to join our vibrant Facebook community! It's a closed group where Gambody customers share their 3D printing experiences. You'll find a supportive and creative community of fellow enthusiasts who are always eager to share their amazing projects and valuable insights: facebook.com/groups/183216945475583. We hope this information is helpful for your rescaling and printing plans! Let us know if you have any further questions!

What is the best printer to make this on?

Thanks for your comment! The Death Star I model, like many other models available on our marketplace, comes in 2 versions: FFF/FDM for filament 3D printers and DLP/SLA for resin 3D printers. Choosing the right 3D printer depends on several factors such as your budget, project requirements, and desired outcomes. For versatile and dynamic models, we recommend starting with FDM printers like the Creality Ender-3 Series, Anycubic Kobra Series, or Prusa Mini+. These options are user-friendly and have plenty of resources and tutorials to help you achieve great results! Alternatively, if you're looking for highly detailed static prints, resin 3D printers such as the Anycubic Photon or Elegoo Mars Series are ideal. While resin printing may have a slightly steeper learning curve, it delivers flawless prints with exceptional resolution. For more guidance on selecting the right 3D printer, we have a comprehensive article listing some of the best affordable options available: www.gambody.com/blog/best-cheap-3d-printer-to-get-in-2021/. Additionally, we offer convenient bundle options that include both 3D printers and selected 3D printing models, providing a seamless entry into the world of 3D printing. You can explore our bundle options here: www.gambody.com/search?tag=3d-printer. We recommend checking out our blog article, "Free Beginner’s Guide to 3D Printing": www.gambody.com/blog/what-i-need-to-know-after-buying-a-3d-printer-guide-for-beginners/. It's packed with valuable tips tailored for beginners like you. You'll also find many tutorials and guides on our blog to help you along the way: www.gambody.com/blog/3d-printing-articles/tips-for-creating-3d-printing-items/.
