What are they doing with keys?

@@ericdavenport7120 There's a challenge in level 4 of tome 2 to escape through the hatch so people are using keys, which are largely agreed to be a poorly designed mechanic, to escape through the hatch.

Kinda, this patch didn't do much to make me want to keep playing, the new killer isn't that interesting to me and the small buffs on other killers while fine aren't enough especially in trappers case and sounds are still shit

Honestly I think he's better at most loops. Maybe long walled pallet loops are worse than w/ Huntress but majority I'd say he'd get a hit faster, since you can actually get hits at short pallet loops. The fact that he needs no windup and can instantly shoot a person with no warning is huge at loops.

i think he is being underestimated because most people are trash.

Problem is that huntress gives survivors too much of a distance mid-chase. Unless you are able to hit those long-distance hatchets accurately, she is relatively worse. The reason for it being: She charges her power longer, which slows her down (giving survivor more distance if she misses) Her Lullaby reveals her way too much and is a big notification for survivors to hide. Hence, more distance between her and survivors when the chase begins. Her hatchet hits speed-up survivors. So, when they hit from healthy to injured, they gain tremendous distance advantage (she is slow), especially if you hit then from a far away. Slinger reels them closer, giving him a head start compared to the huntress. Her hitboxes are bigger, making them less reliable, oddly enough. Also, she has no aiming (sticker on top of the monitor does not count) and her projectiles move in an ark rather than directly. This, once again, worsens her hit/miss rate compared to slinger. As her charge of the hatchet takes time, she won’t be able to get hits while looping something in a circle. Slinger’s ability is nearly instantaneous, leaving survivors no breathing room in those situations. Granted, huntress has potentially higher range and can securely down survivors while injured, making her impact more powerful. Overall, huntress is objectively better than Slinger, but only and only if she can reliable hit her hatchets. That is a big if, especially considering that she is much more punishable for making mistakes (more chase distance lost, lullaby - much harder to enter chases and apply pressure, if she runs out of hatchets she must go reload, abandoning the chase). To top up, huntress is a bit more difficult to use, due to the nature of her unreliable/inaccurate hit-boxes, projectile trajectories, wind-up delay, no precise aiming etc. This is my review. I stand by my words: Huntress is much more powerful than Slinger is certain situations, but requires tremendous skill to execute properly. She is, in contrast with Slinger, more high risk-high reward character. Yet, as she requires a LOT of practice to be reliable and good as, she will not be as enjoyable as slinger to the newer/average players, which is a factor we have to take into account too.

Sounds like an issue you just need to get used to.

Since the sensitivity cap is lower on controller, it’s not that huge of a drop on console, but that’s only relative and doesn’t mean it’s not big.

They should really make a new ADS sensitivity for deathslinger.

Don't rely on windows, those aren't safe, and try to break line of sight as much as possible by utilizing walls, trees, rocks, crouching, anything, and if you can't, don't be predictable with movement. He's slow so exploit that weakness. If you make it to a pallet, drop it early. He can't do shit on the other side of a pallet or a decent loop.

You reel a survivor in quicker by doing so as well as pull them further out of position.

They get reeled towards you at a faster rate, making it more difficult for them to try and slide behind objects to break it. Always moonwalk if you hook a survivor unless you are at a window or otherwise unable to do so.

He doesn't stab them in the back he picks them up diagonally with the bayonet and then spears.

they get reeled to you WAYYYYY faster, it's est for open spots though and when they are far away

Theu dont get reeled in faster, but you do pull them more distance at the same reel speed, if that makes sense lol. Like walking forward or backwards is the same reel speed, but when you walk backwards you pull them further away from where they were.

Played 2 games and got 6 out of 8 kills so far (ps4) He's a lot of fun and will be pretty good when players have mastered him.
