If you are running whispers you may as well swap ruin with CI, honestly. It will get you a chase faster and improve early game map pressure. Enduring probably just replace with BBQ for info, plus who doesn't like BP? Like honestly I think whispers makes CI a hell of a lot better since that 120 seconds will be spent in a chase most of the time thanks to it.

The problem I have with "tunneling" is that everyone has their own definition. A lot of survivors say it's when you go back to the hook after the unhook. Others say it's hooking the same person twice in a row. Some say it's killing someone before someone else is on death hook. So it's hard to define tunneling, as well as the fact that the game encourages tunneling because of gen speeds and map pressure. DS is also a major problem, because it doesn't stop realistic tunneling, and them survivors say "oh, don't tunnel and you won't get DS'd". And then what happened with that Quentin. It's easier to find and down the survivor who just got unhooked instead of the healthy survivor. Maybe if they implemented something where the hooks have spikes, so when you unhook, you make a lot of noise and you bleed for a short duration, despite being healthy, that would probably make it 10x easier to not "tunnel". Which, speaking of tunneling, that's probably what Off The Record is meant to do: help prevent tunneling. That fact alone pisses me off, but whatever.

I do think monitor and infectious would synergize better tbh. His early game is terrible, and monitor helps you get this early hits better bc of the lower tr. Plus it synergizes well with infectious due to the increased TR while in your power. It's very good! Nice build :D Barbecue also helps locate more too!! And who's to say no to more bps???

At 17:10 when you got to the little boat, I barely had any time after the unhook, so I hid behind a tiny rock that props the nose of the boat upright. When you said "I have arrived", you legit ran right past me. Not too bad about being sneaky. I'm not a master at looping or blinding a killer, so I have to adapt to survive. I don't try to be immersed, because I do gens, run to get unhooks and heal others when I can. FYI, I haven't run Self Care in maybe 6 months. I'm not THAT bad.

I never liked Whispers. To me its something that is fine for new killer players but a bad crutch to have for later on. Finding survivors is not that hard once you understand the spawn areas and movements people tend to take. But hey if you want to use it go for it. The "tunneling" thing. While I try not to do it in my games it sometimes happens due to said person constantly getting in my face. ( I can not help it when they do that or they are the only ones I can find. ) That said I never considered it a real thing regardless. The point of playing killer is to kill. Not to cuddle survivors and let them go.

I agree just cause survivors make up rules that lean towards them winning doesn’t mean any killer has to agree to them but doesn’t give killers the right to be toxic by facecamping or proxicamping because it’s not fun for survivors but survivors can also be toxic by teabagging or pointing to the killer, not trying to say one side is worse than the other but I think the community of DBD has just gotten way to toxic since release and unfortunately the game is no longer fun for new players or even experienced players and that is exactly what kills games... this isn’t a rant or me being a Karen but I just wanted to inform killers out there and survivor that sometimes your actions have negative effects on the game itself, lmao sorry for writing a bible about why toxicity is bad 😂😂😂

What I don't understand: If we could compare this to Myers addons. With Myers, his duration addons also need you to have more stalk for the first Tier 3. While stalk is also a limited thing you can do. Oni's power is in theory unlimited as there can be up to 100 blood orbs on the map at once indefinitely, and hitting healthy survivors grant you power. Wouldn't it be more fair to give Oni the same treatment, where he needs more blood for his first blood fury that scales with duration? Or should Myers have his duration addons buff to be more aligned with Oni. Where Myers only get duration with no drawback

I really like your videos.. But as a survivor I hate those snowballing killers. And that's why I gotta dislike this video even tho you're great. Snowballing is literally just another word for slugging and slugging honestly is the worst. It's just boring and imho shouldn't be a viable option. Unfortunately since this game can't be balanced bc of the differences between swf and solo queue.. it is. Oni is honestly same tier as Billy for me atm and if u get not well coordinated survivors as enemies.. you've won no matter what. Which isn't balanced at all
