Many many years ago we were very concerned about peeing from a stand, and actually got down and walked a distance from the stand to pee. Knowing what we know today it was not the smartest thing to do, we also pee in our scrapes today as you stated. We learn more everyday about how to be a better hunter. Bob

I used to do the same. Getting out of the stand and walking through the woods to pee definitely disturbs a lot more than just peeing by the stand.

I half believe the statement about summer deer leaving. Some of them do leave, but some of them stay, and by the end of October, new big ones move in to my area. I never put any stock into the "moon stuff". I read about it, fed into it, never saw any consistant proof that any of it worked...I DO believe in weather patterns affecting deer movements though.

Yup, most properties have open areas and thick areas so deer will stay if you have that. Definitely want to hunt those cold fronts over all else. They know they need to eat and that's going to get them on their feet.

Well you just sound like the smartest hunter in the woods Myths yada yada I go by my experience In the hil country of Texas you’ll see different They associate almost everything with danger including your pee

I’ve always maintained that deer characteristics vary by region. Michigan deer will do things that Mississippi deer never do, etc. It always bothered me when content makers act like deer are all the same no matter the region.

Well you are debunking myths as if it were true anywhere you hunt You go to San Antonio Texas and start peeing around your hunting spot you will ruin it for a while Let people learn from their own experiences instead of being the deer expert in the woods
