Hey... you have taken #1 the first step. Each one more thing you add or work on is another step. Be excited! Rejoice! When you condemn yourself or the situation, perhaps you are expecting too much at once. When we began working on our van it took a long, long time. Mostly working on weekends only. Now we are finished, but, we add something or change something every now and then. And you know what: we have only actually camped out "three" times!! Weather, or appointments: seems like something, but I love, love, love my van and what we have done. Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy the making. You have some good ideas! ☺

I recommend that you use KZfaq and search 'minivan no build tours'. You can also type in the type of minivan you have with - no build and find awesomeness. So many people have already done what you are trying to do and most are organized. Take some of the ideas they offer and go with it. Bed set-ups in no builds are very inexpensive and functional. You seem to be a person that wants things organized because you have your stuff together. If you just take a look specifically at what others are doing well and you will find your sweet spot. Also, know that people change the inside of their vans multiple times, often even weekly to adjust to what feels good to them. You got this. Enjoy yourself.

It’s hard to make that decision to go and then have stuff to get in the way. Set up your bed, put a few blankets on it, fill a bottle of water, take a few items to cook, get your bathroom stuff, go out into the wild and rough it a few days. Make some decisions on changes you want, clear your soul, commune with the mother. Breathe. You’ll feel better.
