Hi Kathleen🤗 I've been so inspired by all the wonderful things my friends have sent me.😘 Fortunately, I find some cool things on the ground. Unfortunately, I think it ends up there on garbage day when it falls on the way to the big collection truck 😆😍✨

It is such fun making things with found bits and pieces. The light turned out so well. I’m with your with the whole glue impatience 😂😊 Oh and the outtakes, that is so me with the glue as well! 🤣😆

Lorraine! 🤗 You come most to mind when I'm struggling with glue because I KNOW you and I share the struggle!!! 😂 I had to stop watching crafters that don't get glue on their fingers. Bad for my self esteem. LOL. I find lots of nature items too, but I'm not as quick to see their potential for crafting. Plus they're delicate. I have lots of thin tree bark and twigs, acorn shells, walnut shells etc. 😍✨

I listened to and kind of watched while working on a pinata for the grandkids and their cousins. I'm really beat! So I took a break and watched the vodeo again. I love the lamp! It goes perfectly with the stained glass transom windows. And I think that large metal piece made a perfect medallion. Also, I think you made the right choice adding that ring to the center. It looked great without it, but you brought it to another level by adding it. I really enjoy your videos, Dot. Keep 'em coming!

Thank you so much Julie🤗 I honestly, had not even considered having hanging embellishments until it was all pieced together. It's much more authentic with the beads. Crystals would also have worked. Hopefully, I can come up with a way to hang it so it can be seen. 😍✨

We live in the country so berries and other fruits and greens growing naturally is always nice surprise and on the gravel roads there’s always interesting things and thingamabobs! Hope you’re having a wonderful day! It’s baking day here made fresh rhubarb muffins from scratch from rhubarb, flour and sugar i alI got FOR FREE! ❤

Hi Carissa🤗 (spelling? 🤔) Free berries sounds like heaven! I'm in a small city (or is it big town) but near a huge agricultural hub. My neighbor had wild rhubarb growing in her yard- loads of it! She made muffins and cobbler and a rhubarb syrup for ice cream or fizzy drinks! Of course she shares with us so.. Thanks for sharing about your free goodies! 🥰✨

Hi Mary Kay🤗 Oh yes! Paint those stir sticks. If it doesn't work out there's always tons more. lol 😂 I found some metal strips yesterday that are the width and thinness of stir sticks..🤔 It's a bit embarrassing there is so much stuff on the ground in my neighborhood. 🫣Let me know what you come up with for your hinges 😍✨

As I am wont to say, "It's a thin line between being a miniaturist and a hoarder." (Not really, of course, but you know what I mean. ) Today, I had to STOP ALL PROJECTS and clean up, sort and organize. My "found objects -metal" drawer was so full, I couldn't open it anymore. Ditto plastic. But, part of why I did this clean up was because of your video. I thought, "Wait, I have all that STUFF and I am not even looking at it regularly so I don't know what all I have." And presto change-o, the strap hinges cum coffee stir sticks appeared. Yay! Thanks.@@thedollcupboard

That turned out beautifully! IIt looks like you have some great finds. I love to treasure hunt while I’m walking. I usually take a couple of sandwich baggies to put my loot in. My sister thinks it’s junk lol.

Hello Dot, I love it, the beads really finish it off beautifully, it's a great use for the random stuff you've found on the pavement. I love the bloopers 😂 you're not alone with glue frustration, I can never get super glue to stick to anything but myself, I once glued my thumb to my cheek because I didn't realise it had got on my hand 🙄 luckily I had some nail varnish remover so there was no skin loss 😬 Have a lovely weekend, Best wishes from Yorkshire, England 🇬🇧 😊

Oh my Suzanne🤗 I bought that glue a few weeks ago when they were out of Aleen's ultimate glue. Is it really supposed to be like that?! LOL. The glue I used I've had for two years and it was perfect. 🙃😍✨

Thank you so much🤗 I'm happy with this one. I ended up using Super Glue brand Fix All adhesive. It works fabulously but takes at least 24 hours to completely cure. Oh glue, we love it, we hate it, we can't craft without it. 🤣😍✨
