It's crazy cuz Kawhi and PG were going to workout with Kobe at his new gym and they looked so happy to be there learning from Kobe. He was passing the torch them, Kobe was ripped out of everyone's lives man, from family, friends, fans, to players he was mentoring such as Kwahi n PG. Looking at Kawhi in that interview, he has the look of a super talented kid who just lost his sensei. I'm sure he'll bounce back "I just felt like he wanted me to come out here and ball" proceeds to get a 31 point near trip-doub on what's probably the worst night in NBA history, hopefully no one will have to suffer anymore tragedies from now on.

Never saw many people crying, man crying. Kobe was special, unique. I was a regular attend to Lakers game at the Forum and I will never forget his rookie year, how desperate he was to play and not getting much playing time from coach Del Harris. Give Your Meat a good ol' Rub! It’s the fact it was Kobe. Kobe changed the game. Kobe wasn’t old, he was in great shape, everyone knew he has a huge great family, had the best relationship with a daughter a father could have and they BOTH died in a freak accident, no one would have thought he would have died for another 40-50 YEARS! And this bullshit had to go and happen, freak accidents happen all time time but when it happens to someone you would never expect it to it puts in in perspective, Kobe dying would never make sense and that’s why it’s so difficult for people to grasp this

As a Celtics fan I never liked Kobe when he played against us, But I always had the ultimate respect for him and his game. Definition of a competitor is Kobe Bryant. What he has done on and off the court is nothing short of inspirational. The game of basketball moving forward will never be the same. It is like a giant hole has been left in the game of basketball. Words cannot express the emotions and feelings we all have today. Another terrible example of how fragile life truly is. My thoughts and prayers go out to all whom he has touched especially his friends and family. Not only have we lost the great Kobe Bryant but also his daughter Gigi. Gigi idolized her father and seemed to be on the way to carve her own path to become one of the greatest female athletes of our time. We now can never see where her journey went. We will never see Kobe give his hall of fame induction speech. His poor Wife lost her daughter and husband and His girls lost their father and sister. Also my condolences to the pilot and the other families aboard the helicopter. It seems so fucked up that the day after Lebron James passes him in career points that he leaves us. The next Lakers home game is going to be difficult one but a must watch. 2020 has been off to a heartbreaking and scary start. This is one of these days that we will all remember where we were when we heard the news. That feeling of your heart sinking and instantly thinking it cannot be. Never take life for granted. Thank you Kobe. MAY YOU BOTH REST IN PEACE.
