I dont think jordan is the GOAT. I was a teenager in the 80s,and the fact remains that Jordan NEVER beat the GREAT teams when they existed in the 80s. Jordan failed to lead a team on his own WITHOUT PIPPEN to a title. Kobe can forever brag over Jordan that he took a team on his shoulders WITHOUT SHAQ and led them to 2 NBA Championships,and dont even lower your IQ by saying Gasol was on the exact level as Shaq. The bad boy pistons of 89,90 completely CRUSHED jordan. Jordan could only cry foul everytime he came into the paint. We were witnesses watching Jordan lose in the 80s. Explain to Me why Jordan was NEVER good enough to win a ring WITHOUT PIPPEN?? HISTORICAL fact. Jordan beat a bunch of weak,sissy,SOFT teams in the 90s to win those 6 rings, plus he COPIED Dr.Js freethrow dunk!! Jordan =OVERRATED!! That's My opinion.

Whomever said “sour grapes” to Isaiah hit the nail right on the head! This whole “if I’m building a team I’d take Lebron over MJ” is ridiculous! MJ when he first got to the Bulls played PG for several games and averaged triple doubles, so that showed he knew how to be a playmaker as well as a potent scorer. Later in his career he focused more on scoring but that was when the team got Phil as a coach and the new triangle system which allowed Pippen to be more of the Point Forward, leading MJ to focus more on his scoring like the team needed him to be
@tarzangrant1233 жыл бұрын
J 2 you’re right! I feel like the triangle forced MJ to trust his teammates more and not try to do it all himself, and though scoring did go down, he still was at the 30 point mark
@fatboy59263 жыл бұрын
J 2 exactly. In those days you couldn’t simply have a perimeter freak like MJ and win a championships (before Phil MJ did more than he is given credit but I won’t get into that) the game was simply too physical and too rough for perimeter players to lead championships (Zeke did it with the greatest toughest roughest defensive side ever, Magic a centre sized point guard had Kareem and a stacked squad) wingmen were considered centrepieces of championship teams. Today with the soft rules you need wingmen. Back then nah. Lebron fans bring up numbers but they’ll also say “if Lebron had Phil he’d have 6 rings” maybe... maybe not but they don’t take into account if Lebron played for Phil he wouldn’t have the ball as much (triangle) even if Lebron played point forward (Scottie) and initiates the offence that guy is really looking for an assist pass it’s a pass into the triangle to get the movement going. Lebron’s numbers (that his supporters love) would be impacted like MJ’s were in the triangle

JORDAN IS THE GOAT! Seriously, I know LeBron has played longer-that's the only reason his bulk numbers are better. Jordan only played 15 seasons, retired at age 34, and missed 1.5 prime years to go play baseball (which he was actually CRAZY GOOD at for a guy who hadn't played since high school). And two of those 15 seasons were at age 38 and 39 after 3 years off and HE WAS STILL DROPPING 20 A GAME!!! Although I'm not nor will I ever be a Jordan fan or Chicago bulls fan, I can understand why scottie felt the way he did when Phil Jackson took scottie out of the game in the 94 eastern conference finals against the knickerbockers. Scottie had to step up in a major way after Jordan decided to retire to go play baseball with the white Sox. Still, phil made the call to execute a play that involved scottie's participation in a different way and he just flat out said no. That's insubordination to the max right there and phil wasn't having that. At that moment, it was essentially a battle of egos between them. A pivotal moment in NBA history. Lol.

Mikey Mendez I mean if we’re talking about impact Jordan was def the big and Lebron was that too but not too Jordan’s level where he brought the bulls back to being relevant I think lebron is the most gifted physically but Kobe and MJ got him skill wise . I won’t accept lebron until he’s bald

Jordan kors fr he needs to shave it’s already come off before
@mikeymendez52313 жыл бұрын
Jordan kors I agree that Jordan and Kobe were better skilled players, but lebron’s so talented that he can take almost any team to the finals, in both stints with the Cavs he was easily the best player on the team and when the team was going through injuries or just weren’t performing he would still carry them to the finals. Kobe & MJ never had that issue, they’ve always had reliable help. If you give Lebron the weapons that Kobe and MJ had then he would’ve never lost a finals ever
@NicoBear20203 жыл бұрын
Mikey Mendez Yeah that is true if only we coulda seen a Jordan and Kobe duo for 1 year and a Lebron vs Kobe finals however Leviton is just the most physically gifted of all of them which is a gift that has got him 3 rings should be 5 but he might get one this year

David Godfrey That and he was shooting like 60% or some other ridiculous percentage during that series. That definitely was no bad shot
@lucasalvesalcantara91914 жыл бұрын
From a defender's point of view that's a bad shot. That's the shot you hope the guy tries, because most players in most situations aren't going to make it. But Dame did it, and that's the only reason the statement is controversial.
@tylervance54754 жыл бұрын
Lucas Alves Alcantara If a guy is shooting 60% from anywhere that’s a good shot. That range is literally just a normal three ball for Dame. Him and Curry should be guarded that deep in a situation like that because they are very capable of knocking down that shot.
