An other great and unique song written by Lara. I agree with you and many others i have been following her since she move to Québec Province in early 1990s and she has been blockled so bad in the USA that it is criminal. She wrote more than 150 songs, (all out of this world) published 16 albums more than 30 millions sold and almost unknown in the USA, but with reactions from you Maddy and many others shes getting there 30 years later Many Thanks Maddy,love you!!!

Lara Fabian was born gifted with such a talent for singing. PLUS, she was very well trained by the best opera teachers from Belgium and Italy, but she decided to sing pop songs, she also has the knowledge to sing in operatic way, she studied from her 8 to 18 at the Belgium Conservatory of Music (there she learned Bel Canto, piano [she composes her own songs on piano), she started singing professionaly at the age of 15, in 1985, her first video clipe came when she turned 16, in 1986 and her first world wide album was released at the begin of 1990. Then since 1998 she kept having vocal lessons with a teacher untill nowadays. Lara also works as a vocal coach on The Voice Canada, she already worked as the vocal coach at the Star Academy program in France from 2004 /2008. She speaks fluently and composes in 4 languages (English, Spanish, Italian and French), but she is able to speak and understand a little bit of Russian, Dutch and Portuguese, she already sang live in 12 languages. Once again she wrote this song. Once again her diction and phrasing are stellar. Just a piano and her voice shines incredibly. And in this one she exposes her insane head voice skills while most of the time she is using her famous mixed and resonant belts. I will request some other songs that will let you discover completey new sides of Lara.

@@legitor513 c’est face au public canadien ou au public français ? Je me souviens, c’est la devise du Québec, qu’on trouve sur les plaques d’immatriculation là-bas. A l’origine c’est une devise sur le fronton du Parlement du Québec, avec des fresques pointant vers les 3 cultures qui se sont succédées dans La Belle Province (Amérindienne, Française, Anglaise). Lara a composé la chanson quand elle est retournée en Belgique, juste après avoir quitté le Québec, et en ressantant déjà la nostalgie de son pays de cœur. Elle a été très émue quand juste après avoir sorti son album, ses fans français, à Paris, l’ont repris par cœur. Elle l’avait écrit pour les Québécois et Québécoises et elle s’apeecevait que cela résonnait ailleurs aussi. Je sais qu’au Québec c’est devenu un classique et que cela touche aussi beaucoup Lara, comme une sorte de cadeau qu’elle a pu faire à ceux qui lui avaient tout donné en premier.

Hello maddy, merci de continuer à réagir à lara et merci pour tes commentaires qui sont dans l'émotion. Lara est unique pour retransmettre l'émotion de la chanson , elle est vraiment connecter à tout les mots de la chanson,on n'a l'impression qu'elle chante la chanson pour vous , elle vous touche en plein cœur. Des artiste exceptionnel avec des voix exceptionnelle , il y a n'a énormément et qui ont des voix plu puissante que lara , mes l'émotion ça il a n'a pas beaucoup qui le font comme lara . Oui tu as raison l'Amérique la boudé tantpis pour eux , ils ont loupé quelqun exceptionnel. Sache que lara chante toujours en 2023 et f1iz toujours des concerts et toujours avec la même passion et émotion. Tu ne sera jais déçu par lara , ce n'est que le début de ton aventure avec elle . Sache aussi qu'elle chante dans 12langues différente et parle couramment 5 langues .

Lara Fabian is a fantastic vocalist. She has all the skills from range to control I don’t know why she hasn’t gained the notoriety she deserves “YET”. But I think it is coming. I notice you reacted to Lucy Thomas’s cover of “Hallelujah “. I am asking you to listen to her latest single “Evergreen” love song from “A Star is Born”. She is another singer that deserves more attention also.
