I have two sets of wallies. The first set I bought was part of the initial offering and the holes for the screws were much tighter. What I have learned since trying this is that starting out with a piece bigger than I need seems to stress the clay out too far.

How do you get your slabs so square when you run them through the slab rollers

How do you avoid wrinkles on the endless with these and the cuties? I get them all nice and smoothed outside but at least one corner always has a little wrinkle in it on the inside.

What kind of boards and size are you using to flip the items Ty
@JessicaPutnamPhillipsАй бұрын
I have various boards and sizes. Often I’ll use 12” bats that are made for throwing. I also use homemade ware boards that are 12”x12” made from 3/4” birch plywood. Recently GR Pottery has started making some nice ware boards too.

I made some ‘bakers’ but I had problems with the lid cracking during glaze firing. Plus the lids slide right off. Any way to do a stopper inside? I tried a coil but it doesn’t work

When I make lids I add a gallery to the inside to hold the lid in place. I have a lidded canister class on ClayShare that shows how to do it.

unfortunately every time I watch these videos the quality is not good. The delays are always really bad and I have an excellent connection.

I'm not understanding why you put some clay in the hole with the screw?
@JessicaPutnamPhillips11 күн бұрын
The clay will hold the screw in place so it won’t move or fall out.

“wallies” means someone very foolish in some parts of the world, these look very clever though.
