There is no way that's just the neck of a whitetail deer..it's the boned out neck, shoulder and top of upper back meat..

When I was a kid, I would go to my grandparents garden garden and pull a couple of turnips,and a few radishes, after supper, watching TV I would start peeling a turnip, salting it all around and watching TV while enjoying a delicacy.

Coarse sea salt and a paper towel will take care of most of it. Light coat of oil and back in the cabinet. Don't use soap as it will strip the seasoning off the metal and you'll have to redo it.
