they need to come up with something better, the DPF systems is flawed and the fixes can put a O/O out of business.

The guy is wrong as to why the truck was dumping smoke, "coal", "soot". On diesel motors when they are dumping black smoke under a load or rapid acceleration it's do to an excessive amount of fuel going into the cylinders and the way the truck is set up as in turbo (VGT), ecm parameters ect. The fuel doesn't burn, so the black smoke is unburned fuel, it has zero to do with charging system or your throttle body or the amount of air going in. Now if you are blowing white smoke (not smoke from a messed up uriah injector) that's a different issue, like your egr cooler went south, or head gasket went bad or injector cup cracked from excessive heat.

@@shortthrow50 yes. Every motor, gas, diesel or natural gas (except electric vehicles)have a throttle body. Nowadays they are all electric sending units. In that you still have your old fashioned butterfly flap that allows a X amount of air to come into the intake depending on your demand from the throttle (foot pedal). The more throttle you give, it sends a signal to the throttle body from there the butterfly value opens up.

@@eduardo138879 everyone says they can do it right but whoever u do it for u. Make sure they put exhaust and turbo heat guages to monitor.

The mechanic tell me I'm gonna lose some horsepower and I need to get a temperature gauge for my exhaust intake to make sure I don't overheat the motor

Don’t let any ole jughead touch your truck, I had my last truck deleted, it ran great no problems. I will do the same to the new one by the same guy.

That pipe the camera is focused on looks like the muffler/exhaust pipe for the APU Unit.

Smoke not coming from small pipe its exhaust right behind apu. As you notice the truck is running so that means APU automatically turn off if you start the truck.

It was air accelator. Next to EGR pipe.

If you guys notice anything the little small fight that he said smoke was coming from was not the exhaust from the truck that little pipe came from the 9 it on the side the truck pipe is way bigger than that little I guess he set out to do what he did he fooled a lot of you

The little pipe for apu but when the smoke was from exhaust pipe right behind apu not visible. 99% Apu turn off if you start the truck so smoke is from truck engine. Air accelator was bad.

only at dealer if its so.ething related to ecm or engine they connect computers and find out. tbey try not to work. but mom/pops dont give any issues

It's about what happend after bypassing DEF. My 3 trucks turbo blown out and 2 caught fire. I'll keep titles more clear next time.

You can’t sell a deleted truck if you get caught it’s over $10k fine.

Just don't goto dealer because by law they require to report def bypass.

@@desitruckersinu.s.a2797 where these laws written bro . there is no such kind of law to report to anybody . but its good suggestion to stay away from stealership. only law they mandate if they work on your aftertreatment system they can't release your truck if its not legal "because of liability" as you mention in comments if truck caught of fire .
