Probably a bit of a controversial take, but this show had my all-time FAVOURITE depictions of the Mad Hatter and March Hare. Being a kids show, they needed to portray the two's eccentrics without having them come off as insane, and I think they managed to pull it off in a way that made the two just silly and eccentric enough to not only not be annoying, but also help them stand out in a cast of other eccentrics.

The White Rabbit was actually one of the more fun and relatable characters, but the Cheshire Cat puppetry was a little creepy, certainly. Especially how he was fading in and out of places, and the interactions with the Cat always seemed... off somehow (Which was due to the green screening. The cat was never actually present on set during principal filming so the actors had to take the cue of basically 'the cat is floating up around here' and act to the air, so that's probably why).

I had a tape of this show with a couple episodes. I still remember the one with the pretzels.

I absolutely loved this show as a child, along with Dumbo's Circus, and Welcome to Pooh Corner.

Willie Nelson already lives in Wonderland, that appearance was part of the shooting fee.

If it was made today, they'd also have Snoop. I hear he lives in Wonderland too

OH, GOD. Until I saw this pop up in my recommendeds, I had completely forgotten that I used to watch this show constantly as a kid. It's like I totally repressed it and it all came flooding back when I saw the thumbnail. Holy shit, thanks for unlocking all of these memories for me! This show was fantastic and I loved it so much. I have no idea how I forgot it so thoroughly.
