I have been the family scapegoat for 45 years. I lost my Dad when I was 12 and my precious Mother when I was 15. January 28,1978 was the day that any love for me or understanding of me died, too, and the burden that was me began. My siblings were all older and the trauma from emotional and mental abuse at their hands has been devastating. Here I am, almost 61 years old and just now learning about narcissistic siblings, the role of the scapegoat and how to heal. I’ve relinquished that role and my entire family has rejected me. I’ve been in the darkness the entire past year and have been suicidal. But something miraculous has happened. I realized that Jesus was rejected and betrayed by his family, friends….so many. He understands this pain. I’m working on a closer walk with him, studying the Bible, and listening to Joyce’s teachings. I’m not where I want to be, but I’m on my way. This message today was greatly helpful for me and validates that I’m on the right path! Prayers for peace to you all! Thank you for helping me! Much love to you ❤

I can definitely relate to what Lisa believed about never trusting men. I have the belief that "I don't need a man" and it's scares me to think about needing and depending on a man. I know it's something I have to take to God and ask him to heal.

You women, are so amazing and wonderful. Everything I thought of or I was dealing with, I received both answer to my question. I thought I was really the only one that was dealing with my adult children, running to other people instead of me. No longer wanting to spent time with me. For me, that was hard to deal with, I just lost my husband of 49 years April 3, 2022. It seems from that point we have some how grew apart. As you spoke about friends, I had my best friend for over 20 years. And one day out the blue she text me a little something that sound off, I call her out on it, but she no longer wanted to be friends with me, and she stated, I did nothing. I feel a little relieve. But was devastated. I feel like Joyce, I love people and family, but I don’t want to be at a point in my life where I need people or they want to just drop friendship for no apparent reason., I really love this and I’m about to watch it a second time. That how great it was and what I got out of it Thank You.

I have watched most of the episodes of talk it out podcast and I'm 100% sure that everyone on that platform is genuine and fun in their own personality. Everyone has a different story , even though we share some similarity in some areas. From Ginger , Erin , Joyce , Lisa , and all the other guests that are invited, they all have unique personalities that they chose to share with us. Jai is missed and im sure she is not only missed by those that watch but also from the hosts themselves. I strongly believe we should learn how to appreciate everyone according to their unique personality they choose to share with us . Oh wow this was so powerful. This morning the Holy Spirit showed me that me always thinking that "there are other people going through worse than me" is selfish. It's pride. It's REJECTION 😱. My husband and i married 3 years ago as born again Christians. Just a few months in he began pursuing Judaism, rejecting Jesus, and so i too feel rejected, betrayed, abandoned. We are inequally yoked - law versus grace i feel torn apart and see no hope. Hope deferred mskes the heart sick. Ive cried every day for years, loke Jesus wept over Jerusalem. How could he trade freedom for the burden of the law? I left the home 3 months ago, leaving God to work on his hardened heart. No change so far. My dream of a good Christian marriage seems lost. I was alone for 27 years and now Ive been robbed. This rejection is so sad. Is he lost, has God given up on him, on us?

By 6:02 "It didn't come from people out there who I didn't care" That is where the problem lies, when you treat the people out there without care......which is rejection. If people start caring about the people out there, just as much as those that are around you, we would not only have a different world, the church as a whole just may be loved instead of constantly rejected. For me, the culture of rejection, is a rejection of God and its also a rejection of life. So if your family and home reject you, along with your community, and your nation, as well as the church, neighbours, no friends and online, then that's it, no matter where you go, its the same experience, just in different disguises, you are pretty much alone. When there is no where to go, and God still doesn't reject you, and you fall in love with the witness that was rejected was the most important of all, you love Jesus in His rejection, because He loves you. When you also realise nature doesn't reject you either and the animals, wildlife, the earth don't reject you, but need you......its pretty amazing.
