This should've been in the movie. Really shows Jean's powers getting out of control. As well as their friendship.

I liked this scene a lot like really shows the friendship between Jean and Storm cause they are best friends in the comics.

@@sovarosepisthmwn2449yes they are said to be very close. Their relationship hasn't been emphasized in awhile because Jean was dead for 16 years and they've both been busy in their own corners at the moment. Storm is busy running a planet, Jean is busy overcoming a slight case of death again.

@@sovarosepisthmwn2449 in the comics, mutants were able to terraform Mars and have renamed it Arakko. She is a part of a ruling council and is Regent of Sol, meaning she is the voice of the solar system in intergalactic affairs.

0:55 sassy Storm, wow 😂😂 Tbh I think they should have kept this. It shows how Ororo knew about Logan and Jean, explaining how she is trying to get wolverine to choose aside, fully knowing he's struggling to choose one because of jean

The Phoenix is starting to take over Jean. This should have been kept in the movie and shown a bit more too.

Phoenix is not a separate entity of cosmic force or separate personality. Like the original Phoenix in the comics, “Phoenix” in X2 is just Jean. And her power is simply evolving too fast and too powerful for her to control.

The “not” seems to be a reference to the 90’s animated series, Scott said that in the show too. While I like the little scene I think the “not” makes it feels really 2000’s 😅

This scene is in the novelization. In the book, Jean is so out of it that Storm has to zap her a little bit.
