Deleted scene: Ray’s Arrest and Trial.
One of the great joys of making this documentary was meeting Raymond Baxter. Cold Chisel’s Don Walker is a massive fan of Ray and told me that no matter how good the Star story was, the story of Ray’s life is a hundred times better. It broke our heart to this scene out of the film. It’s long because it’s beautifully detailed and once you take those details out you start losing the gravity of what he’s saying. So please take the time to watch this untold story and hopefully down the track we’ll tell the whole Ray Baxter story.
