Deleuze can be seen as one of the most important thinkers of the 20th century. His (and Guattarri's) ideas on deterritorialization, multiplicities, the rhizome, speed, and others create new philosophical narratives that pierce the veil of metaphysics. Something deemed half-way obsolete by many in the 20th century. Here we explore his metaphysical relationship with arguably his largest influence. That being Spinoza.

I've noticed a lot of KZfaq regarding philosophy seems to be 'pop-culture' philosophy if that makes sense. If it's not, it tends to be really dull, dry, non-inspiring slideshow videos lol. Which are great, but I'm hoping to bridge the artistic video gap with something that actually delves into core ideas.

@Mustuffa _CIV9_9 There's truth to what you say here. While I wouldn't characterize Spinoza's philosophy as cheap, it's important to understand, as you have pointed out, that Spinoza is a rationalist and mystic, very much like a Neoplatonist. The magic and sorcery of word casting, spelling unveiled reflects the Natural law, cosmic law, universal law of also plagiarised Hermetic principles all saying the same things when unpacked I feel in the addition of generative force which being the 8th principle. ALL is mind, UNIverse is mental, ALL(substance, infinite and immutable) is all (aptitudes, modes, finite and mutable) but all can never be ALL, DaVinci is the Mona Lisa but the Mona Lisa can never be DaVinci as an analogy . Spirit mind circuit we are all connected. Hegel in affect of his dialectic is observed in the decline of our civilisation by the tyrant and priest projectionist . No freewill exists in the cave with the only freewill being love or fear of which all else is born

Great video! One thing I don't understood about Deleuze was this (maybe someone can help): Deleuze embraced Spinoza's immanence, but starts to differ from Spinoza when he claims God is of the modes. At the end of Difference and Repetition he says to "Turn the modes around." It seems that he is turning against the unity of Spinoza's God in favor of Difference? I'd appreciate if someone could help. (Again great video and the editing was amazing!)

While philosophers such as Spinoza, Adi Shankara, meister Eckhart, and Ibn Arabi (Jewish, Hindu, christian and Muslim) all said Look! God is in everything you see! And you are a part of that! It's beautiful to realize this in ordinary, daily life actually. It gives life so much more meaning.
