This Dell Latitude e7470 is a i5-6200 processor with 8GB ram (up gradable) and a 1920x1080 display.
I wanted to test it with Adobe Premiere Pro but I'm not really a fan of that application and actually use DaVinci Resolve 17 to make my videos

Decent Budget laptop even in 2024, its dropped to around 150$ refurbished now near 200-300$ for new (good luck finding one that's in new condition though)

I have the same laptop and it doesn't work great in roblox and it overheats a lot

I no longer own the machine but I might try that with another machine to see if it will work with the sim card.

it's not great but you'd be better off looking for a Dell Precision M4800 or a Dell 7510

Good question. The 5570 is a 15” and a bit beefy. So it depends if you need portable or beefy. BUT the 5570 may have a better GPU.

Thank you for this video. I was looking to find out if it can take a sata SSD. Now, I know it doesn't. 😁 Also, I can see the RAM isn't soldered in. I have a question, please. Can I simply get any working 8GB ddr4 RAM and use with the one that comes with it to take it to 16gb RAM? Also, can I instead switch the 8gb for a 16gb single RAM? Thanks.

You should be able too. If it has a SSD and 16GB ram. You going to use CapCut?

@@MikeDancy I am a teacher and I will record videos and upload them on utube so I want to edit my videos for that purpose like trimming off video and adding voice over.Will that be possible with this laptop?

yes, it should work. I wouldn't use it to run Adobe Premiere but try CapCut and it should be good for that.
