THE SINGER'S LINE DELIVERY AND VOCAL RANGE IN THIS IS SO IMPRESSIVE it's like the perfect balance between the ruler of a world who is genuinely threatening to kick your ass and someone who's just trying to have a fun time which perfectly encapsulates Queen as a character this was such a fun cover and it's only your FIRST CHAPTER 2 SONG I'm really excited to hear what else is next

I love how queen says “you see, with me, you’ll be happy” but king’s song says stuff like “no hope, no dreams, now bow before your king”. It’s awesome how queen’s lyrics are much happier and nicer thats king’s. Just like the vibe their songs give off.

I think I understand why King and Queen act so differently. In King's song, he is constently resentful of the lightners "leaving him". What I think this means is that kids no longer find card games as fun, and they have declined in popularity over years and people have "abandoned them". I mean, he's a literal king of spades. However, in queen's song, she realizes that people enjoy the internet, using to to persuade others and is enjoying herself. There's also the line "Bow to me 'till the old world's gone", showing how glued people can be to social media.

I mean, that's the literal explanation. Darkners' backstories are based on what literally happened to the objects they're based on. The darkners in Chapter 1 have been abandoned and disgraced because that's what happened to the abandoned classroom. The darkners in Chapter 2 welcome lightners and Queen seeks to control them because they're based on the stuff in the computer lab.

There's a line that just sticks with me. "Society! It relies on me!" Queen is the embodiment of the internet, technology, etc. This line is saying that basically everything in society has some sort of technology to make it run, like jobs, schools, and even our own homes.

Who is seemingly entirely missing, either dead or currently MIA, we dont know. All we know is it happened when she was young, given her breaking down at the spelling bee

It makes sense, darkners are basically personified objects people and monsters use. Cards, web applications, toys... it's no wonder helping Lightners makes them happy and being abandoned make the King turn violent. Queen truly does want to aid those in Light, but it feels like her plans would result in a problematic over reliance on the internet.

It was actually quite sad that she didn't change her voice pitch at that long note. Since the theme itself changed the note down like 4 times or so? I'm not a musician but i hope you got what i mean😅 But yeah it was actually surprising that she kept her voice perfectly on that pitch. The whole cover is amazing on itself.

You need to create an enemy for everyone to fight against, the requirement being they need to kneel to you. I think the timeline changed originally, because EVERYONE was determined to maintain the peace between monsters and humans, leading their determination to change even history to erase the war from history.

Not to mention, the flaws in her genuinely good intentions are feasible for a computer. For instance: * Noelle's room in Queen's mansion seems to be decorated as per her frequent searches for "December Holiday". The results would've been for the general phrase, not the missing sister Noelle was undoubtedly hoping to find. * When Noelle outright tells Queen that she didn't enjoy being a prisoner, Queen seemed to pause with shock and regret. Apparently, the meek deer hadn't objected to _anything_ as Queen's prisoner, so she had no basis for thinking it made her uncomfortable. *Queen sought to spread Dark Fountains across the Light World because it was implied to be a good idea by the Knight. When Ralsei explained why this would cause more harm than good, she quickly switched gears.

I can't overstate how much I love that tone shift at around 2:00 with "Well that's my sales pitch." Like, all of that stuff before wasn't actually what she meant, and her tone changes to be more playful and "join me." as opposed to intimidating; I think it fits her as well, as there is that point in the chapter where you realize that she's not... _that_ dangerous. UNRELATED Has anyone else noticed how much her head looks like an Xenomorph? I'm not the only one who's noticed that right?

However, she felt very threatening here; Berdly was under mind control, and the tone of this song compared to her normal theme was such a shift. 1:07 Even though this might not be intentional, I think it's really funny how the lyric about _search history_ is included during _Berdly's_ motif in the song This is a pretty incredible cover, the vocalist did an absolutely wonderful job with her Queen voice, and had a phenomenal performance overall Glad to see Attack of the Killer Queen get such a well-made cover, it's easily one of Chapter 2's best songs

Already seeing a few comments here and there comparing this video to mine so I'll get this out of the way: This is expertly made. The vocals from Lulu Grey are spectacular and fit Queen as a character perfectly. The ART. GOD I wish I could make stuff even close to as good as that. The vibrant colors, shading, and the overall composition are just beautiful. Now the Lyrics! I've already got a comment or two on my vid saying I did better, but I entirely disagree! These lyrics expertly tie into Queen's motives and the context of the fight, while also feeling like something Queen would actually say. (Which feel even more Queen-like coming from Lulu's mouth) And it all still has room to add in various references to ingame flavor text, and Inside(?) Overall, the MOTI-grade quality we've all come to expect. Y'all knocked it out of the park, as always. God DAMN is this good! The past couple months of content have just been fantastic. From Chrono Trigger coming to an amazing close, (Still hyped for the full "The Musical" vid btw) to ALL OF SONGTOBER, some absolute bangers of solo songs along the way, (PepsiMan, Dung Defender, and Doopliss to name a few,) and now a really stong return to Toby Fox-based content. It's all been so entertaining and I can't wait to see what comes next!

Queen has to be my favorite new character from Chapter 2. I loved her wacky way of doing things and her jokes always hit with me. This song really expresses how silly, yet powerful the Queen acts. And the VOICE it fits so well! This was perfect to start off the new rush of songs for Chapter 2.

i love how both king’s song back in ch1 the not musical and queen’s song here contain small gaster references- king, obviously, with his “dark, yet darker run the skies”, but queen’s is a bit more subtle- that line “survey says you’ll join my side”, when the only “survey” we see in dr being the vessel-making sequence with gaster at the beginning. pretty sure she never references surveys in the game.
