Deltic 55 021 York, 1E52

My beast 55 021 at York on one engine and with steam heat boiler working at full blast working 1E52 09:10 Dundee - Kings Cross, which it worked from Edinburgh. The way '21 looked during the last few weeks of the Deltics just made me love her even more. RIP.
In the background can be seen 55 009 on the Hull Executive Railtour.

This clip is my favorite, thank god you were out there recording it all. Video cameras wernt exactly portable in those days. Good effort bud. I will watch these clips again and again. Eddie

yeah 55021 always seemed to never be any bother and always on the move and strangely in my days at Donny in '81 always on one engine. Always kept goin though...

superb vid, you have exellent vid clips of the deltics, i have the model of this one, along with a few outhers, im busy sending them away one by one to be heavily weathered just like 21 in this vid, heres a challenge do you ,or know of any you tubber that has clips of st paddy this seems a rarity to find, thanks for upload off to watch another of your deltic clips now, thanks again
