Again, fellas, one of the best episodes so far! The exploration, the combat AND the social encounter! Best of! Also, if you find the wave cannon and a missile upgrade, I'm sure you can handle those metroids.

Need the ice beam for metroids, they're only vulnerable when frozen.

I appreciate Jon's comments at 2:30 "who knows if you found everything" when Mike and the guys are talking about all the stuff they have missed before... And then rubbing in the fountain room pass during the session. I really appreciate the fact that you all take some extra time to do these detox sessions to provide more insights into your play. Thanks fellas! I am also loving the ongoing interplay between Mike and Ted due to Mort's treachery against Darius and the Club's overall weariness of Kerbog Khan.

Just to be clear I just like pulling Ted's nose hairs. He absolutely made the right call with Darius. This is just how we are.

Treachery? He spared him from certain torture! In fact, Darius even wanted to die. Not only that but he protected the party's secrets.

I think I should have used the "irony" tag on my choice of "treachery". I too believe that there was no other way to resolve the situation without compromising the Club.

@@BaltoBruiser yeah no one WANTS to lose a character BUT when you think about it ... a ttrpg that forces players to make that sort of choice organically is like a gift. It wasnt the DM contriving to put players in that position. David and i tried something SO ridiculous (but would have been awesome if it had worked) that there really was no other outcome based on OUR actions. I'll take it. It was a good death.

I do wonder how cut off from the surface you really are. In the sense that, how would the dragon behave towards the AV club members he's never met? Other than that, I think the Beastmen do make for some great allies.

I know the Set Market might be off the table for now since Gerrilad put out the hit on the AV club, but if they could get out via the cliff face there they might be able to connect to Gosterwick without the dragon knowing.
