What they did to Bernie still infuriates me. They want to fight facsim while protecting the corperations at the same time. Thats why they always appear so weak, they are trying to have their cake and eat it too.

Obama, “wisely” choose Biden as VP to make white suburban democrats feel comfortable to vote for him. Unfortunately for Obama, his presidency was marred with 2010 “shellacking” as he himself referenced it, and Obama tacked too much to the center which depressed voters in 2016 who thought they were getting hope and change. Obama is very intelligent, but even he was destroyed by centrist ideology, and it ruined his presidency. Democrats also failed to codify “Roe” when they had the votes, and thus we ended up in this precarious situation now. Leftist policies are popular in the Country, but leftist rhetoric is not, hence people who hear leftist rhetoric often assume they want communism, because the rhetoric doesn’t match the policy. Too bad more people don’t judge the progressives and conservatives on their policies, because if most of us did, we’d have a vastly different Country!

I dont think we were voting FOR the Biden-Harris team. We were voting against tRump.

In 2016 on an unplanned last moment rally with only a couple days notice, Bernie filled the convention center in downtown pittsburgh with over 8000 people. They had to open a second room with a screen for overflow. Hillary could barely get over 3000 people to show up at carnegie mellon university for her rally with weeks notice. Wasn't shocked when she lost pa at all. Keep in mind CMU shares a city campus in oakland pittsburgh with 4 other colleges. So out of 5 universities on a huge open city campus she only got 3000 people to show up

I think Bernie would have won in 2016 if the dems hadn't pushed him out, I know a lot of Bernie supporters that voted for trump saying if they couldn't change the system, theyd burn it down. Imagine if we'd had Bernie instead of trump.
