does it like make hair shorter? I have a Pomeranian with medium hair and I want it shorter but hair salon so expesnive !!

Rajko Kovačević The spikes are so sharp that they cut the fur. I bought it, and it literally cuts the fur off. Which is not good for double coated dogs, they need their fur to be in good health to protect themselves from the hot sun (to make sure they dont get sunburned) and keep themselves cool. They also need it to keep their warmth in the winter..

I would recommend not to, because as I said, they need their fur to keep themselves cool in the summer (because the fur blocks out the sun).. If you use this brush too much, it'll ruin your dogs underfur, and make them more vulnerable and then risk your dog getting sunburn :) I've had a tibetan spaniel before, and therefore I recommend not to use this brush.. You should rather use a regular comb.. Takes longer, but keeps the fur healthy and most important, your dog healthy :)
