Dennis Prager doesn't think the Nazi slogan, the 3 Ks is bad. The German slogan describes that a woman’s place should be limited to the children, kitchen, and church. The Majority Report crew discusses how they are not surprised by Prager’s view aligning with fascists. The MR crew talks about how Prager and those on the Right like him do not want women involved in politics and the hierarchy Nazis wanted to maintain.

Just another simple-minded populist fascist media personality. Just says things he thinks his base will find compelling, has no actual principles beyond sociopathy. Essentially a regressive puritan. Exactly. I was honestly shocked that somebody as poorly educated as Dennis Prager instantly knew what the guy was talking about and even remembered the original German phrase. That’s probably very telling. Also, his pronunciation was not bad at all (I‘m Austrian). Somebody should ask him about that phrase in a debate next time he claims that Nazis were atheists. I bet he instantly forgets what at least one of the three Ks stands for.

Everyone can agree with them on something, left or right. If you read the actual platform of the NSDAP, called the 25 Points, you'd be able to recognize left-wing and right-wing ideas. This was done on purpose to draw in a broader coalition of people. They had something for everyone, like all demagogues do. I think Göring once remarked on it saying they took so much stuff, they themselves didn't even remember where they took it all from. Let's take point no. 9: "All citizens should have equal rights and obligations" or point 15: "We demand an expansion on a large scale of old age welfare." If I didn't tell you these are part of the Nazi Party platform, you'd probably think they're from a left-wing platform.

That's a very bad definition... "Political manifestation of violence" is extremely broad and many ideologies, left or right, including fascism, but also non-fascist had violence perpetrated in their name. It's also reductionist, as fascism had more elements to it than just violence. It's like saying anyone who is violent for political purposes is automatically fascist, maybe they are, maybe not, depends on what else do they believe in?

@Rachel Forshee OP brought up how Prager knows the lingo and that that means he must be a Nazi. By that logic, any historian that specialises in the Nazis (or has an expertise in Nazism) is a Nazi. I have yet to come across a historian like who sounds like they're ashamed for knowing this information. By this logic any ex-nazi, who naturally would know all the Nazi lingo and propaganda, is still actually a nazi. I knew what those three Ks were because I've read books about the Nazis and we were told about it when talking about WW2 in school. Does all this make me a nazi or my education a Nazi one? It's incredibly bad faith to say that Prager is pro Nazi or a fan boy of the Nazi regime. It's like saying that a Marxist/socialist/communist/anyone for that matter knowing about the Soviet Union is actually pro the Soviet Union and Stalin.

Dennis 'I have a patchy knowlegde of history at best' Prager is wrong. The 3 Ks are originated from the 16th. century. "The origins of the phrase are normally attributed to either the last German Emperor Wilhelm II, or to his first wife, Empress Augusta Victoria. She is likely to have adopted it from one of several similar German "sayings by number". The most suggestive of these is listed in the second volume of German proverbs Glossary: A Treasury for the German People published in 1870 by Karl Friedrich Wilhelm Wander: "Four K's are requisite of a pious woman, namely, that she keeps regard for church, chamber, kitchen, children."[6] Wander refers for the origins of this saying to a 16th-century commentary on Sirach by Johannes Mathesius.[7] He also lists another similar phrase: "A good housewife has to take care of five K: chamber, kids, kitchen, cellar, clothes," which appeared first in the 1810 collection of German proverbs.[8] by Johann Michael Sailer. In 1844 "The newspaper for the German Nobility" published this latter saying in its traditional last page "feature" short statements.[9]
