Some of the best times of my life was when Ronald Reagan was president, and I didn’t even realize it. I didn’t realize how great of a president he was either until now. I Hope Dennis Quaid does him Justice portraying him.

In 1986, Ronald Reagan signed the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act (NCVIA) into law, and this law created the VICP. The VICP protects the pharmaceutical company from liability related to vaccines. If someone suffers from a vaccine injury, they can't bring a lawsuit against the manufacturer. Instead, they must make a claim to the government, and then, they may receive compensation through this program.

I had an almost encounter with Randy's wife at the California secretary of state. This is when people were stealing Randy's corporations. She was there doing research on past and present filings to show proof that something was going on. That and yelling at the SOS staff when the names on the filings had someone else's name and not Randy's. You could tell that she hadn't slept or showered in days. At the time I was a courier working for a private company who picked up, and dropped off filings for clients. While I was there I witnessed all of that.

Invictus Mabel, I did work hard and did not ask for handouts. I am a DEMOCRAT and I believe in helping those who truly need help. Some people are not as strong and healthy as I was as a young mother. Unlike most Republicans, Democrats DO have hearts for the people and MOST of us do NOT want handouts. The main difference I see between Democrats and Republicans is that Republicans hearts are in their wallets. It’s all about $$$! “Every man for himself” seems to be their motto. Not my party! Never has been, never will be unless they have a major change of HEART and start putting people first, before $$$.

Reagan could have lived out the good life swanning around Hollywood going to all the parties and even could have got himself a tv acting role to keep the lifestyle up. But he instead decided to run for office so as to try and solve some of Americans problems at the time and in doing that was shot, had his own legacy trashed by people that did not like his politics and above all he made decisions that people were scared to make. If he was not a good man I have no idea what a good man is.

Reagan was a very likable type of guy, and he had to be one of the luckiest person that has ever lived in our life time, but he was not this great president, the economy recovered like always it always does and with the help of reform that was passed before Reagan was in office, but since he was the Man sitting in the big chair at the time when he was in office, it wasn't anything he did, he got the credit. he ran up the national debt so high and with this military build up has made other countries hate us

Crap! He ruined education and sold weapons to Iran. The truth is not in this movie. The people in it need the money.

I wonder how many people realize that previous to Ronald Reagan’s presidency, students who had a parent die were able to go to college and their tuition was covered by our government? Ronald Reagan took those benefits from children, already devastated by the loss of a parent. Both of my daughters lost, not only their father, but also those benefits to cover college tuition. I hope this fact is brought to light in this movie! God only knows how many other students were so deeply hurt by this Republican, so typically selfish and prone to cover ups. So, please tell the truth about Ronald Reagan, who took college tuition from students who were already deeply hurt by the loss of a parent. How low can a president go? He is no hero, just another greedy, heartless monster with a big phony smile, who laughed all the way to the bank.

Reagan was a horrible man. He also played a large part in causing the vast numbers of homeless people we now have in the USA.

Patricia Burke their tuition was NEVER covered by our government because our government doesn’t make any money. Their tuition was covered by the hard working taxpayers in this country that had to get to work everyday on roads full of potholes because the government was spending too many tax dollars on free college they couldn’t fix them. Life isn’t fair and you get what you pay for and a free college education is worth every penny you spent

Nicholas Bratton , Funny how Republicans don’t mind tax payers’ money going to cover tax cuts and loopholes to benefit the wealthy oligarchs who are padding their pockets on the backs of hard working people. No, sometimes life isn’t fair, however, life has continued to get more difficult for the majority since Reagan’s reign. The disparity between the majority of Americans and the oligarchs needs some major adjustments. Politicians shouldn’t be bought!

Patricia Burke I agree with you 100% that politicians shouldn’t be bought I think there should be laws against it. As far as tax cuts for the wealthy individual states do that all the time as incentive for businesses to come to their state and create jobs so technically in that case the business owners aren’t putting in their pockets they are essentially putting in the pockets of their employees. Also you mentioned loopholes and I think you’re right that there are extremely wealthy people in this country who have teams of lawyers to do nothing all day but find loopholes in the tax code and that is exactly why socialist free everything policies will never work because people that wealthy are always gonna find a loophole and if they can’t they’ll just move to the Bahamas and when that happens the people paying for free college and healthcare are gonna be the same 60 hour a week folks like me who just wanna decent road to drive on

I believe that Ronald Reagan is overrated as the former US President. Ronald Reagan wasn't a great president to some people also. Based on some comments he said and done in the past also.

It depends on who you ask. Plus, to some people, Ronald Reagan wasn't a great US president. That's the way I would answer your question.
