Thank you for sharing dear Sister and I'm sorry you have also travelled this difficult path. I agree with what you are saying. It's learning to cope with what we are dealt. Due to a huge amount of trauma and my genetic make-up I have bipolar and a complex kind of ptsd that makes my daily life almost impossible to cope with much of the time. Every day is a challenge, it's hard to keep going but I do it for the sake of my family as I can't put them through the agony of loss. It doesn't help when one is unable to sleep more than a couple of hours at night and everything is so overwhelming. Praying for all those that suffer too. Hold onto life which is so precious. God loves us more than we will ever know. Don't be afraid to take the meds, I struggle with this. The challenges we are thrown often seem unsurmountable but just hold on. Struggle with sitting at Mass? Watch it live online. God sees our suffering and is sad for us but willing us on.

Yes, I have never had this full on before like I have in the past 12 months or more. Damn shocking, and nobody knows, and I will say it, nor cares, as they brush it off with, Oh, if you need to talk, just give me a call. That is not a friend, again, pushing it back on you to do something, but I won't. People I have found to be of no use and I have accepted that, even though you listened to them when they had problems. I have cut so many of these away from me, they were not helping nor did they want to.

Isn't the fullest version of "me" my glorified self? I am not my faults right? My faults do not define who I am but rather destroy who I am... Perhaps she means how our strengths come from the same brokenness our faults do. Perhaps Sr is trying to say that we should not reject our proclivities and our inclinations which we often have no power over, because these sensitivities which are out of our control are not our fault or guilt, but rather we need to accept what God has allowed to form us. These sensitivities are what give us our greatest strengths and characterize our glorified self.

I don’t know why the Lord decided to give major depression again.Ill never know…I was doing so well after months and now I’m so low 😢

I have this problem yet l actually know god love me. Even knowing that there just no answer but accept me as l am a mess. Then again who isn't

God made my personal makeup. If you don't believe it, you're forever fighting and not accepting reality.

I can't get out of bed, and feel like the worst slothful sinner.

My question is, if he is a God of mercy, love and healer? Why he let people go into depression and let them suffer despite the fact they follow Christ commandments? Why he let people suffer even it’s not their fault?

Please pray for me I’ve been on an antidepressant for 30 years and I’m slowly trying to taper off of it and it’s very very difficult it’s hard to explain unless you’re going through it I keep telling myself that the Lord is with me and then he makes things all good but I’d like to be kind to myself right now
