Ghost got 91 user score, won gamers choice awards beating lou2, has insanely positive words of mouth, what is starfield user score, steam score, what are influencers giving it?...most importantly it wasn't hyped as the game of the generation, people were actually skeptical about it. If God war ragnorak came out and got an 83 on metacritic be honest with yourself, the xbox fanboys would have had a field day. Try not to be bias you'll think much more clearly. Ghost was an excellent game with almost no flaws.

After playing Spiderman 2 for about 4 hours so far, I can't help but feel that reviewers were biased towards Starfield. Fun is subjective, but I have/had more fun playing Starfield than Spiderman 2. Both great games. I do play Starfield on a 4090, I hate the 30fps lock on Xbox and 60fps should have been an option.

@@kthebarbarian8223, how about a video showing Spider-Man swinging into a small cargo container and then getting stuck? Definitely stops your gameplay forcing you to restart at your last save or restart the game. At least with whatever bugs Starfield has, no $70 cost you to experience it unless you buy it afterwards. I plan on purchasing Starfield later which has way more replay value than a meer 15-30 hours that Spiderman 2 has.

Spider Man 2 or Starfield ? you can't really compare those games 1 to 1, you have one being an RPG and the other a Story driven 3rd person game. Starfield is a 100+ hour game, that wants you to stay on, even after the Main Story. Spider Man 2 are 30 hours, has nothing after the main story, as the whole game are story driven, so the chance of you staying on Spider Man 2 after the last boss fight are slim to none.

Spider-Man 2 just makes me realize even more that there is a distinct bias in favor of PS by reviewers. I went back at looked at several of the lower reviews of Starfield and a lot of weight was put on bug issues for that score. Comparatively, there a have been multiple reports of serious issues with SM2 and not one reviewer took that into consideration. In fact, I found little mention of issues in SM2 reviews. Maybe they just slapped a score on it and didn't play the whole 10 1/2 hours it takes complete. Because I can't see their review copies not having similar problems like the release version us peons having paid $70 for the game are coming across. The game is fun, not saying that. But so was Starfield. It is just one is treated differently for similar issues and one because it on Xbox is treated like the boy living in the cupboard under the stairs.

Oh the joys of the industry. Needing review codes to keep your job means you need to play by Sony's rules. Ponies attack the honest reviewer and the company the reviewer works for loses access to review codes for there honesty. That and as Paul Tasi has said in a video before. They do run into bugs. But they put there reviews out and hope that those bugs get fixed on the day one patch. Again. To not lose access to more crucial review codes.

And Super Mario Bros Wonder is out today too! I played 1 level before I started working this morning, and wow are the controls and animations top-tier. You play the game, and you just know it's going to be a real treat by how the characters control. Nintendo always has this incredible way of making simple, repetitive actions like moving around and jumping and what not really fun. The elephant power is awesome!

I love being an adult (35). I primarily play on Xbox. All my third parties games, online games, gamepass, if it’s on Xbox I’ll play it on Xbox but I own a ps5 because Sony exclusives are awesome and I love playing good video games. Spider-Man 2 looks awesome and I can’t wait to play it.

That's exactly it my friend, they really don't care about playing games at all. As for Spider Man 2. I find it interesting how it's getting tens from so many places, it prides itself of the "high quality and polish" but I've seen way too many clips today of bugs and glitches in the game. Stuff Cyberpunk got dumped on like there's no tomorrow yet we didn't hear any reviews really talk about that. I mean these tens were ridiculous to begin with, but this is just odd, to say the least.

I'll say alex videos helped me in one big way. I originally went on Twitter to console war. Then he brought it to my attention these are all 30-50 year old dudes arguing over plastic boxes. I didn't wanna be those dudes, I'd rather just talk about games I enjoy and leave it at that. So thanks Alex your salt videos helped one person.

You do realize that Alex is a 30-50 year old guy who also feeds into console wars, right? 🤔😂 His whole shtick is centered around finding PS fanboy tweets and making a huge deal out of it, while mostly ignoring that it happens on the other side too. He knows that railing against PS gets him more views than going against Xbox. This is the console war my friend, you're still in it. 😂

And that is the crux of the issue. Xbox doesn't do enough to make worth while content. And trust me. I'm still waiting for more green salt. This blue shit is good but damn have we had a lot of it.

@@Goldenfire49 This is pure cap. Alex takes some of the dumbest takes from randoms on Twitter and throughout the Internet. There are tons of dumb tweets from Xbox diehards and people like Colt Eastwood and the RDX crew. Colt literally said that he had it on "good authority" that the Series consoles were ahead of the PS5 globally. 😂 They spent 2 years talking about "The tools", which never came. Or how they said there would be a 30% power delta. Or how the suddenly no longer cared about Series S feature parity, now having games with complete modes missing. They recently railed on Spider-Man 2, calling it DLC and saying that nothing has changed since the 1st trailer dropped. They've said that 2023 was going to be the comeback year for Xbox, and all 3 of their AAA releases were disappointing compared to the expectations they put on them (Redfall, Starfield and Forza MS), only for them to be outshined by the very game they said changed nothing (Spider-Man 2). Or how he points out that despite Spider-Man 2 being out PS fans are teasing Xbox fans about Starfield... Yet he never pointed out that despite Forza MS and Starfield being out that Xbox fans were talking trash about the trailers and lead up to Spider-Man 2. Or how the Xbox side keeps calling FF XVI a flop, but are quiet about Forza MS and Redfall's numbers and critical reception. Or how they keep talking about PS+ price increases, despite every tier of GamePass still being more expensive than their PS+ counterpart. There's tons of things to point out with the idiocy and hypocrisy of the green side. Alex just doesn't do it because his audience leans PC and Xbox. Just look at the difference in views when he does his Xbox salt videos. Alex knows his audience.

@@OxygenC2 PS hate videos generate way more views than Xbox hate videos. You need to look no further than Alex's own channel, so my assertion makes perfect sense. It's always much more lucrative to hate on the more popular product because the diehards of the other product are usually more passionate about their disdain for the popular product and its fanbase. The popularity of the product tends to add an extra level of irritation to the other fanbase. For example a hate video on Jennifer Lopez isn't going to generate the same attention a hate video on Beyoncé would. Those that have been waiting to air their grievances and hear people talk bad about Beyoncé or her fanbase will flock to the video. Especially since the general consensus is positive around that person. They become sick of hearing how great that person or thing is, and get satisfaction by hearing the opposite. Just look at how often "media bias" and conspiracy theories come up in regards to PS's success, when PS rarely even does interviews with outlets. Yet you openly have MS execs having breakfast with known Xbox fanboys and liars like Colt Eastwood, and the media bias or propaganda narrative never comes up among the Xbox fanbase. They don't really believe in a media bias, and if it's in their favor they'd love it. They just hate that PS is more popular. These videos make them feel like PS is being taken down a peg, even if in the grand scheme these videos do nothing to stop that popularity.

I was hoping that they improved on everything in Spider-Man 2 with the meta score the way it is but this is another TLOU2 situation where journalists are overhyping mediocre Sony games. The #1 complaint about the first game were the MJ stealth missions. Not only do they have more MJ stealth missions in this game but they actually have Peter Parker stealth missions too. It actually has "Life is Strange" moments too. I know its crazy but I come to a Spider-Man game to play as Spider-Man. 9/10 my ass. Also the dialogue suuuuucks. Spidey talking trash during fights is supposed to be the best part, not the worst. No wonder Ponies are having more fun console warring than playing this game.

My friend is a huge PlayStation fan that’s all he’ll ever play. Well he dropped by. I was playing Scarfield and he started playing it just to show me how bad it was and now guess what he actually went out and bought it Xbox and is playing it now all the time, that’s the sad fact and he was hating on all Xbox games all the time and including Starfield and he’s posted how bad Starfield is and everything else and lately he removed all those post Everybody just needs to be gamers play all the video games out there have fun on all of them. You know this gives us more choice of what we can play just like choice on what we can watch for a movie. Everybody needs a choice. Everybody needs to choose where they wanna play video games I choose to play on every single system. But I still think it’s sad, because after all this, he still tell his PlayStation friends that he’s playing Starfield and actually loves it
