He started the segment by talking about how media organizations should talk about these things and how he has covered leaks and hacks in the past, however, he conveniently decided to not cover any of the information in the Insomniac hack now. It does make me question his integrity, especially considering that there are other media organizations and sites who have covered the pertinent information. If he never actually covers any of it in the future, like he said he would, then we'll know why.

And it's always easier to Phish and "hack" people than it is hacking systems. Working in firewall security myself, I know that end users are the single weakest link in any system. educating people on cyber threats is the difficult part...

There's a big difference between whispering rumours in someone's ears or showing them the Pandora's box. The reason why people talked about Capcom because they didn't have their assets AKA Pandora's box on the market like insomniacs happening right now. These gaming journalists are not talking about it because there's a playable version on the PC you can play right now, and obviously that's not a rumor it's fact. So yes these journalists feel sorry for gaming devs that put in all the hard work, trying to protect the viewers for not getting spoiled.
