I got it, but the way doctors from the USA and Western Europe usually disregard knowledge from other parts of the world is annoying and arrogant. The two MDs could have simply said "I don't know how to use this, I have no knowledge of techniques outside of traditional medicine, but be careful with beauty treatments that go viral on Tik Tok".

I've been following you for a while Cassandra, and this is the first time I decided to leave a comment. Thank you thank you and thank you for being so open and transparent on what has been going on with you! As someone who struggles with chronic depression, I don't talk to people about how low I could get emotionally. somehow, that incapability of getting out of bed during low times to get stuff done but just crying and using sleep as a coping mechanism makes me feel ashamed. It brought so much relief to hear someone else is going through the same thing. Not only that, but your unapologetic and natural delivery also helps me feel more at ease with myself.

Cassandra is a man who is uncomfortable in his own skin, which is most likely the reason for his struggles. I hate that people are suffering in such a way. Inversions of all types (good is bad, bad is good, light is darkness, darkness is light, etc., etc., etc.) are very popular in satanism, and people who practice gender inversion are known as baphomets. The baphomet is a satanic thing, so naturally, it's not good. Satanists in the past and to this day, also love to create chimeras, combinations of animals such as cats and mice. They do this because such a being is naturally, constantly, 24/7/365 tormented by their dual and conflicting nature. Does the cat-mouse know to run away from other cats for dear life? Does the cat-mouse know to dig tunnels in the ground as shelter? Its brain must constantly navigate such impossible conflicts and frustrations. It may super, super want to pounce on another mouse, but cannot kill the other mouse because it's too mouse-like and not cat-like. And the other mice might gang up and kill the cat-mouse, for being a violent murderer. The chimera cannot ever be happy. But satanists love chimeras, because they can be enslaved with incentives and addictions which muffle their constant pain. And satanists love slaves because they're sadistic, and also because they need new recruits to do evil in the world. They cannot reproduce themselves successfully because, for one, they inbreed themselves to extinction, plus they're mostly gay and so do not reproduce, plus, they also love to kill off their own children as offerings to satan. Hence why they need new recruits, which they find readily in chimeras. Chimeras are real, just look at the fish-tomato. If they can combine plant and animal, then of course they can combine animal and animal. But, chimeras have to be created in the lab, and they then need to be hidden, so that we don't see the grotesque monsters. But, satanists, having planned to take over global policy for at least the past 5,000 years, have corrupted things to the level that they can put chemical in the environment and foods which interfere with hormones, and which cause men to grow breasts, etc. Additionally, they put the DNA of other people (and other animals) in childhood vaccinations, which means that everyone receiving childhood vaccinations is affected by the gender of the foreign DNA. A bell curve shows the distribution of the opposite gender interference. Some people at the extremes received a lot or a little of the gender interference DNA, but most received a medium amount. The people receiving the most gender interference are obviously the most negatively effected, and are suffering the most. Then the satanists came at the children by teaching them how to do anal sx at very young ages and also while they're impressionable, the schools came at the children with offering them a choice as to what gender they were, and vowing to give them extra positive attention and incentives if they chose the wrong gender. The schools have also made books available to the kids showing, teaching, and encouraging child rape by pedophiles. The schools are grooming the kids for their own destruction. Many children in these schools are suicidal, and that is sad evidence of their abuse. I am disgusted by all of this a lot, and am sharing it to show how truly vicious the satanists really are. (They are also known as the Khazarian mafia). So, yes, baphomets are being actively created. Worst of all, very sick forms of child abuse are contrived to make a person so abjectly terrified of being natural in their own gender, that they develop an alternate personality to make them feel safe. That's a heavy topic, but it's a practice which is perfected and streamlined. It's no understatement to say how serious that satanists are in destroying humanity bit by bit by bit until an avalanche of dysfunction ensues. Anyway, truth is medicine, even if it's a bitter pill to swallow. I don't know if Cassandra can get help, but let's hope that he gets it and never has to cringe at himself again, let's hope that he discovers who he is, because we know he will be happy and amazing when he does, and everyone deserves to be their authentic selves, which is medicine of itself, always.

I did my bachelor's in biomedical sciences in Hong Kong, and my old university also offers a bachelor in Chinese medicine programme that spans 6 and a half years. During the first 4 and a half pre-clinical years students are required to take courses together with the rest of the medicine faculty on basic medical and life science on top of their studies on Chinese medical concepts and theories. These courses include courses on public health, medical biochemistry, anatomy, etc (anatomy is especially emphasised as acupuncture is a huge part of TCM). So all in all it's a rigorous program that is very well respected in Hong Kong. Growing up in Hong Kong, a city which is considered by many to be bridging the gap between the Eastern and Western world, has also been really interesting. Growing up it was very common for family/friends to turn to Chinese medicine to treat medical ailments like acne, or if they were frequently getting sick with the flu. They would always be prescribed a concoction of herbs by Chinese medicine doctors and given an extensive list of foods and drinks to avoid like the plague. There was also a feeling that Western medicine is something you generally turn to when Chinese medicine is not working for you. Growing up I hated the restrictive diets I had to follow every time after a Chinese medicine visit, and since it's a more holistic approach to fixing the problem I also didn't like not seeing immediate results, especially in contrast to instances where I would go to a Western doctor and my medical issues would be solved almost overnight. Now that I'm older I can definitely appreciate Chinese medicine a lot more. I also think there's an inherent bias such that everything that ends up "proven" by scientific and peer reviewed studies automatically enters the realm of modern medicine, and often we're left with a fancy scientific name while thousands of years of culture and history behind some these treatments are forgotten. We often forget the contributions of ancient knowledge from other parts of the world to Western medicine because once these treatments are "proven" to work they are by default entered into the knowledge bank of modern and thereby "Western" medicine. I hope this offers an interesting perspective :) all in all I'm really happy you made this video and it is a very interesting discussion to be had for sure. I love your videos and please keep doing what you do! Sending love

But there is validity and importance in having studies to back something up. Even though something is ancient or traditional doesn't mean its good for everyone, most effective, etc. For example, leeching or bloodletting, not taking baths, peeing on wheat to determine if our pregnant, etc. There is a lot of traditional medicine that is also harmful. I believe that there are traditional medicines or holistic treatments that work. But studies need to be performed to determine how effective they truly are and for whom, when, how much, if people are getting better because of the placebo affect, etc. Studies also give the user power. Instead of blindly following someone who says they are an expert or know what they are doing, they can review the study themselves. They can trust that someone isn't bamboozling them because a treatment has been proven to work.

Anything, literally anything treats hepatitis B. And anything treats anything. A treatment is blowing air at a tree-trunk (the tree-trunk is being treated with the wind), or a treatment is drinking coffee when you wake up, etc. If you have hepatitis B and you eat processed food, then you are treating your hepatitis B with processed food. If you eat healthy, then you are treating your hepatitis B with healthy food. If you treat a sports injury with heat, then you are treating it with heat. If you treat a sports injury with ice, then you are treating it with ice. So, of course, gua sha treats hepatitis B, as it improves lymph drainage, which is important in the case of people with hepatitis B, due to their compromised liver function.

If she is saying that gua sha is so helpful in curing things, we are still talking about gua shas that are used by the wider public and how they are going to use it. They will not scrape the face until it is bruised. 3. Our family uses a lot of Eastern medicine measures to prevent illness, but goes to Western medicine doctors for treatment of illness. I don’t think they clash and actually works best together. When we get a cold, we take both cold medicine and do guasha at home. It helps speed up the recovery. I love the fact that you pointed out that not being able to find studies in English doesn’t mean it’s not effective, it just means there’s not enough studies done in the West towards these ancient Chinese practices that’s been passed down for centuries. I've been using the fake gua sha rock for around 2 months, i don't care what no one says, my face does look better. It is less puffy, more plump, slightly more lifted, some lines do appear lighter and overall my face looks like there is more life in it. It is also my personal 20 minutes of self care and skincare, and it greatly helps me keeping up with my overall routine, since I do enjoy all sorts of massages, so i do enjoy my time in morning and evening. Yeah, i get that you can do this kind of massage with anything around your house and that the stone is not some kind of magic but stone is much more practical than, i dont know, a spoon. I am really not interested in surgery, botox, fillers and do not have, nor do i want, to spend tons of money on overly expensive treatments for my skin. If I can do it at home and it does offer some benefits, it is good enough for me. I do think many of the dermatologists have an financial incentive to dismiss certain practices.

I think the key takeaway here is the cultural differences. This reminds me of a Netflix movie, 'Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway.' In the film, her son was taken away from her because social services deemed her unfit to be a mother. This judgment was based on cultural practices, such as feeding her son with her hands, which might be uncomfortable for Western people. It seems that when something is perceived as different in the West, suddenly our remedies, treatment, or way of life are labeled as barbaric.

Yes but except the fact that that's where science comes and a lot of studies have shown that children in a supremely hygienic and protected environment are more likely to develop allergies. So anything being handfed should not actually be frowned upon. Doctors would side with it, as a mother's microbiome is on full exposure for the kid to be able to prevent hyperactivity of immune system each time it is met with something foreign. So as long as the mother feeding the kid has a clean hand there is absolutely no problem. In this case too we need more scientific data on Gua sha to actually support it's extraordinary claims. Ayurvedic medicine has been in practice for years in India but now that people are using more of these herbs that were not properly researched, a prominent doctor/researcher found hepatotoxic nature of these "medicinal herbs" when used in concentrated levels to an extent that patients were developing non-alcoholic fatty liver. I'm not saying all eastern medicine practices should be discarded, but they should be welcomed with equal amount of skepticism as to when formulating Western drugs or medical practices are withheld to qualify through standards of safety and effectiveness.

@@sheluvssmokedupeyes1 so true! I have found out the hard way and through experience that the pharmaceutical companies prefer us to be sick more often than not because they are making so much money off of the drugs they are selling and the doctors get kick backs by these companies as well. It's a shame but there are a lot of prescription drugs that are recommended and taken when they are not really necessary. Sure there are some we need. But some things can be taken care of with changes in the diet and by using natural medicines for it instead of some of the dangerous chemicals that are in some drugs. However, pharmaceuticals have become so normalized that everyone takes them and they don't question them enough. All I can say is: please pay attention to all side effects of pharmaceuticals and check online and see if the drug being prescribed to you has any legal lawsuits against it. Be careful out there.🤫

I got it and I agree with you, but the way doctors from the USA and Western Europe usually disregard knowledge from other parts of the world is annoying and arrogant. The two MDs could have simply said "I don't know how to use this, I have no knowledge of techniques outside of traditional medicine, but be careful with beauty treatments that go viral on Tik Tok".

It's because they are sick of misinformation. Doctors are great at being brutal. It's their training culture. I always have time to listen to both sides. Okay, the problem here is that the study, "discounting" Gua Sha's benefits, only did the Gua Sha routine ONCE on their patients. It is literally supposed to be repeated for days before the effects become apparent. Any procedure as such should be repeated in testing, like what? I don't think that study should be taken seriously. You CANNOT only so something once, and make claims on it. I do agree that Sandra putting it out as a cure wasn't right, because that is most likely not true.. but the study you site doesn't have nearly enough actual evidence imo, as they only adminstered the Gua Sha one time, which goes against the principles of the method itself to begin with.

Unfortunately there lies the problem. For something to be proven in a study, there needs to be money invested. I rewatched the Short as I am a doctor and remembered being a bit shocked about what she said and what the says is „that’s why it can even heal disease like hepatitis, it can increase your immunity…“ (01:09). „Heal“ and „help with“ are two very different things and making such a claim is misinformation, ignorant to the disease, to the effort actual medical professionals take to help patients with severe diseases like hepatitis and dangerous. Apart from that, saying „hepatitis“ is a bit of an over generalisation as the subtypes differ quite much in some aspects.

Interesting perspective for you from the UK here you can get acupuncture on the NHS from physiotherapists and pain specialists who have had additional training on top of their medical qualifications. I've had it for pain management after a spinal injury because i couldn't tolerate any manual handling and it really helped. My physio told me it was down to stimulating certain neural pathways to confuse the pain signals to the pain by where the needles are placed, which I thought was fascinating as i use a TENS machine that works on the same principle and are widely used by pain management professionals here!

Dr. Dray did a very poor job studying, understanding, and explaining the impacts of PFAS past her knowing that it involves fluorine, yet talked about it as if sh3 was am expert on the topic and the scientists who research it as not understanding it. It takes a bit too much work for a lot of people to admit they dont know everything or be humble enough to admit they were wrong. Thats why i love you. I LOVE that your channel has grown from a place where you thought you knew all things YT/beauty community to a channel where you admit that you always have more to learn like this Chinese medicine topic! This is inexpensive enough and easy enough to try.. my suggestion is just to try it and see if it has a result for yourself.. what is there to lose? Besides, it feels good too.. regardless if it works or not haha

Absolutely! It’s definitely some thing that people should try if they are curious about it. However, I do believe that when it comes to people spending way too much money, or stopping other medical treatments against the advice of their care providers, that could get into some really sticky situations.

Agreed, but also I would learn how from a trained professional! I wouldn’t want to learn techniques that are not correct and end up hurting my self in the process!

😮 OMG! I can't believe Cassandra... Actually, I'm not surprised you educated me on something new. This was TRULY enlightening. (I just came to see if I can get rid of my turkey neck 😂.) Thank you, Cassandra and I hope you have a wonderful day. You deserve it as much as anyone else. 😊
