great explanation... thank you... I have a bad habit of ordering .5 to 1 whole size larger than what I need. I have the correct size coming on Friday... Riedell minx 965 in a 5.5 and im pretty confident that it will be perfect. My 495 and my 595 are both a 6 and feel ok but could be a bit smaller (these were skate purchases 4 and 5). The old style carrera (sz6 my first skates ever) are very narrow and prompted the whole skate buying fetish. 2nd pair of skates - Riedell 122 in size 7 (to big). Skate purchase 3 was vanilla freestyle pro in a mens 6 (huge and required the original insole and a 2nd insole made of shearling. Lots of $$ spent, but even more enjoyment earned - daughter and I skate 5 days a week between 2 rinks.... family time is priceless :)

+mary turner sounds good, glad I could help. It is the season here in the northeast, time to get the kids back out there now that the weather is cold!

I wear size 10 in Nike as well. But I noticed you have the low cut boot, does this also apply to the high top skates as well?

Hi mate, im in the uk and I'm in the process of getting my 395 This is where it gets a little confusing for me. I got the reidell foot chart and i come in as a reidell size 9. My friend in the uk has these boots and he has 8 and a half printed inside his boots. Also ordered from riedell. I tried them on and they are a little to big as i have around a thumb space from toe to the end when i press down. In the uk i measure in as a size 8. So based on what i have said, im finding it confusing to order what the reidell chart states as it says 9 but my friends 8 and a half are still to big. So a size 9 would be even bigger. I know its hard for you to say but based on this do you think i should order an 8?

Good day, I'm planning to get the Riedell OG 172. I need to use the chart to get the correct size of the boot. Now both my foot are measuring 265cm. That is 10.43 inch. Now would then size 9 be safe to choose? Or as you mentioned half a size down? As long that the end of my toe will not touch the inner boot. Thank you

I wear size 11 in men’s shoes and size 11 on my 395 and they fit perfect.

Do you know if the streches much after some use? Im looking for a vixen but not sure about the size, its hard 'cause we don't use the same sizesystem.

Michelle B. Hansson With my use so far, a few months 2X a week for 3 hours constant each---the 395 boots have not stretched much at all yet. Just getting creases and still breaking in at this point. Use those measuring guidelines from cheapskates or rollergirlskates.com, then look for the Riedell knowledge/sizing link.

Okay, thanks! :)

what sizing chart do you think the vixen would be under? the 395 or the 248?
@desertdualsport9 жыл бұрын
kaycee quintana Interesting...I reviewed the sites, and don't see a 165 boot (that the Vixen comes with...) However, based on the price and comparing photos, they look like a non-leather version of the 265 boot. I would recommend using the DELTA (B/AA) chart. Also, most of the sites actually list sizes in women's, which may (or may not...) automatically adjust for your size. I have to recommend you use the chat function (in the bottom of your screen) in rollergirlskates.com website. They will answer the questions---just make sure you do it when they are online, or your message will get lost.

Officialjusten Riedell 395 boot and PowerDyne reactor pro plates.

what skate plate is that?

Looks like Reactor Pro. Bigger sizes space out the holes different. I'm not an expert tho...
