Put the Hot back in Hot Springs! - Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design.
In the Spring semester of 2021, the University of Arkansas' Fay Jones School of Architecture + Design decided to help bring attention to a number of "at risk" structures in Hot Springs Arkansas. It was an honor to work with the Dean of Interior Design, Carl Matthews to produce this video which showcases the studio class, the many talented students and plans of how they would repurpose 5 historic buildings in Downtown.

After a shady fire, city corruption, and 10 years of neglect, activists race to save the abandoned Majestic Hotel from demolition.

Several other historic properties are under renovation by Rix Realty-Advantage Team Realtors' own Chris N. Rix, who is working hard to preserve the 1930s Central Theater by bringing in new and local talent, films and events. Additionally he is restoring Bill Clinton's boyhood home which is located down the street from the Mountainaire. The historic Perry Plaza Apartments and the 1010 Central Avenue property.
