We're heading out there on Friday to check out the re-enactment. This video was a great way to see what we may experience. Oh and we love Emerson Preserve and the mounds, too! Thanks for sharing.

Definitely like! I've been curious about this site for many years. Not sure I'll ever get there, as it's a 7-hour drive from my neck of the woods but I've always been interested in DeSoto, his era, & the Spanish conquistadors in general. The historical demo area looks very interesting but I'd especially like to see the artifacts in the Visitor Center. I've always found the DeSoto expedition to be quite fascinating. Thanks!
