mrmilkoil I really don't understand why people hate on destiny for micro transactions. you don't have to pay money for silver if you don't want to. it's not necessary at all... it's just cosmetics, unlike COD that actually used cod points (micro transactions) to unlock weapons. not just cosmetics but also weapons that are used in game to better a play experience. destiny doesn't make you pay money to better your game experience, they're just cosmetics. that's all.

He probably hates what he's reading, if this was actually paid off like people assume it was then he probably had no choice but to read it even if he objected. I guess he could quit but he's probably under contract right now. Also, I'm more and more willing to believe Bungie paid people off or at least did an expert job of influencing the opinion of games journalists. I mean for one thing they made sure no reviews came out until the game had been out for a few days (meaning they would get all those sales), then all the reviews came out with almost similar scores and all talking the same talking points as if reading from marketing materials you would get. I have experience with that last one working at car dealerships we would get in new models and they would show us everything to say about them. The other side to this is that a lot of the youtubers and others who have close relationship with Bungie or literally rely on Destiny for their income put their reviews behind a paywall in that they made them spoiler filled and started their videos with, "Go get the game, finish it, and then come back here to watch the review." It's like what the what? I am waiting to purchase til after your review and you're telling me I have to buy the game in order to find out if I should buy the game? It's straight up b.s. They started working them when they would fly them out to their offices, set them up in a fancy hotel, and then treat them to all kinds of nice food and crap while showing off the game earlier in the year. That has an influence on people whether they like to admit it or not.

Miguel Angel Flores Ramirez in my opinion, Bungie is doing to D2 what they did with D1 - limiting the content at launch, and then releasing the new/good content periodically via DLC's. Bungie/Activision aren't dumb... they know that there WILL be people that basically sacrifice their soul for this game, so they will use the most profitable/proven formula: micro transactions & DLC's. Doing this allows them to make the most money possible, while also improving the overall gameplay with every patch/DLC.

its still funny how people complain about this game being a grindfest and microtransactions and then say that warframe is much better eventho farmframe is the textbook definition of grind and microtransactions. dont get me wrong, farmframe is also a great game but eventho its free you can easily spend more money on warframe out of Necessity to play the game to its fullest potential. (buying armor and weapon slots, and catalysts and reactors so you can use weapons to their fullest potential to farm more weapons and armors so you can farm new weapons and armors with new weapons and armors so you buy new weapon and armor slots again etc) sure you can also boringly repeat grind missions to get some rare tradable mods and gear and spam in trade for an hour till finally someone gives you some platinum because you went severely under the market value after no one wanted to buy your shit. orrrr, you can just spend 10 bucks on plat and buy some slots and potato's directly without wasting 10 hours for armor and weapons slots. also the game's structure is completely different from destiny 1 & 2 and is more comparable to monsterhunter. point is, stop comparing this to warframe just because its pewpew in space.

Wash Gaming It's an improvement to Destiny 1, anything would be honestly and that's what's clouding your thoughts of it. Don't give the game points for what it didn't do in destiny 1 and you should instead give it points on the new game that it is completely separating it from destiny 1.

Athraxes The problem is, you're saying it like it's acceptable for them to push out a $60 game for a 1.5 release. A $60 game with a time limit I should add, since the community will diminish, making matchmaking impossible, then either the servers will go off or the consoles will be hacked in a few years (eventually both will happen), making online play impossible (just try playing any ps3 game online, even Destiny 1). These online-only games have very real expiry dates.
