I am a black guy with long hair. That is kinda what I do for my hair. I noticed some bald spots few months ago because I used to slick my hair back with gel and put it in a ponytail style every day. My hair is thick and long so I didn't see the bald spots right away. My edges are okay, but I see a tiny bit of permanent hair loss. I use olive oil, Jamaican black castor oil, Africa's Best Ultimate Herbal oil and tea tree oil and gently massage my scalp every day. I also take Biotin supplement. My hair is recovering and I notice a lot less breakage. And last but not least, I stopped combing my hair, I just finger-detangle and if I have to comb my hair to create a pattern, I gently comb it.

Almost the same as her hair, but less volume because I didn't care for my hair. I just started caring for my hair few months ago.

doThatGWalk, some family members and coworkers tell me, "Get a haircut, you are a guy so you have to have short hair". Some people tel me "I love your hair" especially when I used to slick it back and put it in a ponytail hairstyle. I am Ethiopian, so in my culture it is kinda look down on when men have long hair, people might even think you are gay. lol, my cousin arrived to the states few years ago, and few days ago he told me, "When I saw you, I thought you were gay or something". So people that give me shit for it, are almost always Ethiopians, other native Africans and some family members. Personally I don't give a flying fuck about who says what about my hair. I do me. I just like long hair.

Girl glad to see your video so excited you soothe me going thru you hair! Yes I just got the extra dark Jbco omg my hair feels good! I mixed that and the Shea I always have Shea butter.I still need to get the sweet almond. The jbco is expensive so I bought the value tub of Shea butter 🤗and mix it to put it all over my hair and I use the jbco Itself for the ends. Girl all that hair just can’t wait for mine to do that it’s growing but it only grows when it’s left in old braids smh got me lookn raggedy for the growth. But ima try to cope with it till it grow some than it can atleast be long and raggedy Lol ha

Thanks for the tip about how less twists equal more stretch. I will try that and see how it works. I usually wrap my twists around my head and pin them to get maximum stretching.

Even though your hair is in braids you need to moisturize your hair daily. Just because it is in a protective style it does not mean you are not to grease and moisturise your scalp and hair.

This care for your hair is good if you are going to be a hair model or going to cosmetology school and want to work with natural hair, or if are going to write a natural hair care books, but to some people hair is just hair, and they say if "if mess up my hair it will grow back." But I think your hair is 4a or 4b but not 4c hair. I hope to try your night time routine on my 4c hair.😃😃

Lovely hair routine, I am a natural also with lower back length hair ( past waist lenght) I do not allow my hair to fly freely unless it is wash day because fluff is literally like magnet to my strands. Any tips?
