But I can take solace in the fact that a few people have taken the time to imagine me half hanging out of a corset 🤣🤣🤣. Could make me tremble with antici………….pation

I'm beyond stoked, but we didn't actually realise what it was until weeks later because it's a lot smaller than a typical token! Haha, the war wasn't over, we had a rematch on a subsequent run 🤣🤙

It took a long time to scratch that off your bucket list but it was a really cool and unusual one when you did. Good on you for winning the corset fastener war. Yes, it certainly took some time to tick the token off my bucket list (it seems some other detectorist seems to dig them up ahead of me 🤣) but I'm glad I got there in the end. New job going okay, definitely missing the relative freedom I had prior to that though. It's an adjustment process. Cheers mate :)

This was the first video I've watched for the morning and enjoyed every moment of it. What a awesome way to start my day. Thank you... I'm procrastinating. there's 3 to 4 inches of fresh SNOW sitting in my LARGE driveway/parking lot with a large drift behind the trucks about 10 inches deep. Calling me out there to clear it away. We don't normally detect into the evening like that, but the weather was really hot that week so it was much more comfortable to do so! There's a part 2 coming for the location where we pretty much did the same thing. Cheers mate :)

Great to see your pretty face again from Connecticut, USA! Looks like the token was originally gold and was imitated often. I pulled this excerpt from online: This piece is an imitation of a Venetian zecchino (sequin) by London merchants in the 19th century to trade with colonized Africa. Similar parts with abstract representations of Christ, the Doge and St. Lawrence, but in gold, are known in India. In the eastern Mediterranean, the Venetian sequins have long been the means of payment and have been imitated many times. So cool!

Good morning Mish! Although i did watch this last night, i was getting a bit to dozey at that time to leave a comment, So after reviewing again this morning im glad to say, im wrapped to see you back and doing something that i thought would be impossible to do, Beating CBK in the corset crusade collaboration, now im wondering if you beat him with your button find too, but dont answer that, Im assuming that this evening's adventure with CBK might answer that question. And fortunately i suffered no visions of Andrew uncorseted! I saw your last minute arrival at DID's live chat, but didn't get time to say G'day before it finished, So a belated G'day today! Oh! Mish, What's with the corset fasteners? Were the goldfields occupied by families, or did the miners have camp followers (prostitues) that may have dropped the fasteners. Pun intended. 🤣

What little we knew about the region in question would suggest that, for whatever reason, this particular area was very female-dominant. There were also many parasol components and the like. So either reason you mentioned could be valid here :) Cheers!
