Why such deep knowledge and lectures are only part of IIT , IIM, IAS IPS..this should be available to everyone..specially if we want to overcome the current ignorance in the world..

For long years I struggled to grasp the philosophy of Emmanuel Kant & Arthur Schopenhauer ..This one hour hearing the Guru made it possible to constructively attempt to assimilate the principles of Free Will & Determinism ! Immense Gratitude in receiving this content .It is humbling and enlightening ! Thank You.

Determination and free will are the terms we youths mostly believe can't be practised in today's time. Well, its time to change this idea. Listening to this video has made these terms clear and easy in the simplest and most spectacular way...

Karma Yoga as a philosophy for developing Effective Leadership is rarely part of the usual discourse. So, for IIT to have structured this into a credit course deserves much appreciation. This lecture on Free Will is an absolute treat. There are several clues provided and assumedly would be an eye-opener for most. Kudos to the course formulator!

Same talk on will, Maya you find in srimad bhagwatam. We are never free... It feels we are free but we are controlled in every aspect by Maya for conditioned soul and liberated soul is controlled only by God and is free from effects of Maya. Once effects of Maya ends, karma no longer apply to such soul... No karma is stored or is affected... Such soul release all material activities and only work for God... Actually there are so many hidden forces and hidden factors that determine our will, desire, actions. We have very little choice given that is only through conscious mind. All are driven 95% subconsciously.. more you are conscious more slow you become... Forming habit is only good if you want that habit to transpire later in seen result...

Excellent!!! I'm following her lectures for some time now. Very very enriching for a person like me. It's not only for these young people, it's all for those who want to make the life meaningful & worthwhile.

Free Will is just a mechanism for the false self (I am ness/ego) to function in daily life. In reality there is no Free will at all. Everything is predetermined. This "reason" is a story constructed by the ego/I to make it appear like the choice was made consciously and logically. The ego jump and hold of the accountability of any actions as his own which causes bondage. When you [Ego] takes the accountability of an action, of course it is bound to enjoy the result of his action. The Ego is what suffers in pain and negative circumstances. In reality, Ego is not what you are. You are the 'consciousness' which is required for even the ego to arise at first place. As long as you are in the clutches of false self/ego, you will suffer from your so so called worldly experiences. Dive deep within and transcend the ego/mind/intellect and gunas, then you see what is left and reach the supreme state of Bliss. We must hear the people who have talked from that state - Ramana Maharshi/Nisargadatta Maharaj etc. And we must also really pay attention is that, when one is that supreme state of void (Brahman), there is no mind/intellect to govern the thoughts. This is a absolute thoughtless state. And all actions arise spontaneously (read that thrice). This is what the sages mentions as FREE WILL which becomes nothing less as COSMIC WILL. Then Your WILL becomes GODS WILL which is infinite and limitless.
