Beautiful car! Running with the multi-million-dollar cars like a champ! Probably the most practical exotic car to own.. Relatively easy and cheap to maintain, and very good looks!

Fantastic! This is one of the best on-board race action videos I've seen. The fact that it was in a car that you could actually build from a street-legal car gives me chills; to say nothing about the beating purpose-built race cars...

I love this, the panteras were made in 1970 to 1974... and a few after that... The car was so far ahead of its time...

Both the Pantera and the NASCAR winning 351 Cleveland engine were about 30 or 40 more years ahead of their time. They caught dynamite in a bottle. The chassis and frame are race proven at over 200mph. The 351 C can rev at 12000 rpm all day long for NASCAR racing, or it can be cammed for street racing etc., and it has a smoooooth power curve that feels like it produces power forever. And the sound.......

Great video, beautifully done and great car! I am impressed how well the car handles-- he is on trailing throttle half way through those fast sweepers and the car is rock steady.

An exitingly beautiful car, though I have not often seen it on tracks in their time. Yet, I know some were even raced in the Targa Florio. Really a dream of my youthy youth 🌷:). I remember exactly the sights and (ringing) sound of one particular car rolling onto the Autobahn.

Ich habe Michael Erlich mit seinem Pantera beim Solitude Revival kennengelernt. Er stand neben mir im Fahrerlager. Sympathisch und sehr schnell.

Finally i know why i like classic races so much. These cars look like they belong on a racetrack, unlike modern front wheel drivers. There's also no electronic cheats like ABS, launch control (haha) or stability management. Love this vid!

Ich bin total Beeindruckt. 3:10 auf einer Runde in SPA ist sehr schnell. Das der Pantera auf dem Weg zur Eau Rouge auch noch an einen Lola vorbeifährt, einfach nur klasse. Wunderbares Video.

Awesome performance of the car and driver as well ! Really tough engine,keeping up with the Lola T70 when opening out of slow corners.I just would like to know at what speed did Erlich get into the Eau Rouge: I hear him downshifting in the middle of the esses.

By the way, it's hard (for me) to determine because of the Ford Racing valve covers, but is that the original Cleveland - in its high compression, closed combustion chamber configuration?

They're iron heads. And almost certainly 4V closed chamber.

I was disappointed that he lifted through El rouge. Perhaps the car didn't have quite enough downforce. That is no normal Pantera - the bodywork at the rear is widened. Very slippery car through the air!

IM surprised how the pantera is out powering and out cornering cars you would think are lighter and just as powerful or more. reminds me of my Pantera....
