0:42 that was a absolute dime thrown by Trubisky - he hit Johnson in stride on the money in the hands 🙌 without over reaching - dropping a complete DIME on the lions and then 4:32 a dime on the back shoulder on the sideline - going over the middle to the TE with the linebacker not even seeing it - then the dart 🎯 TD pass 4:57

He had a terrible situation with Nagy! The media and all of the sports world called him bust, but it very well could have been the coach. I am glad I started buying him while everyone else was dogging him.

As a Bears fan, Mitch is a beast. Nagy used him right for one season and he had 3500 passing yards and 500 rush yards in 14 games. Then Nagy decided to sabotage the team. Just wish people figured it out sooner than 2021.

Im so happy he made it to a good team with a great coach. Hopefully he'll shine and not get injured. I'm hoping the Steelers meet the Chefs, Nagy's new team, and the Steelers knock them out of the playoffs.

Blough seems to be a pretty competent passer and I like that he can think quick; especially with those shovel passes, but there is NO velocity on those throws. The DBs literally have all day to track them down for interceptions or at least blocked passes.

He won it with this game... He was set up to win it as they wanted him to win it all along and have Kenny be QB2. They literally left pretty much every starter on offense in the entire first half with Mitch then pulled all of them in the second with Kenny. Of course this makes Mitch look better than Kenny does just because of who he is on the field with. It is the right choice in my opinion as if you start Kenny you really can't pull him mid season for Mitch if things are going bad. But you can pull Mitch of Kenny mid season as you feel Kenny is the future of the Steelers at QB.

My main concerns heading into the regular season are our O-line and our run defense. Other than that, I am pretty optimistic with the Steelers heading into the regular season. Now we must wait and see if it's going to be Trubisky or Pickett that will start for us in Week 1. Post Big Ben era begins in 2 weeks. Time to begin our journey to our 7th SB win. #HereWeGo

Has to be Trubisky. There is no way Tomlin runs him the whole first half with the 1s and then starts Pickett. But with our OL, it will probably be like Ben's rookie year.. there is no way Trubisky doesn't get hurt.

The Steelers need to have all three quarterbacks do great and stay healthy. We don't need a repeat of the 2019 season where Ben Roethlisberger and Mason Rudolph got hurt and we have to call up Devlin Hodges from the practice squad. Of course, a quarterback is only as good as the offensive line that protects the QB when he throws the ball, as well as open up the lanes for the RB. I can't WAIT for the regular season to begin.

Seems as though the coaching staff would somehow make the OL's rules and techniques as simple and as manageable as possible to make their "less than stellar/borderline shitty" O-linemen more easily able to grasp blocking concepts and individual asignments. Instead, they've brought in an OL coach with "new and "unconventional" methods that's gotten them really confused on the basics of OL blocking - having both remnants of the old habits of conventional blocking mixed in/up with "new" concepts that they haven't learned well enough to be applied as second-nature reactions. I wonder how long it'll take for the OL to come together with the newer concepts (if ever) or if they're eventually going to scrap it (b/c ineffective) and go back to simple zone/power blocking concepts just to have some semblance of production. We'll see pretty soon.....

The Lions are one hit away from another three win season. I don't know what they see in their current backup quarterbacks but They need a competent backup. One that can manage games and not piss them away. The Lions run game is going to suprize. Especially if teams arent ready or take them lightly. Their O line is for real. They move bodies around dominate and give the qb a decent passing pocket. They may have a few fanbases questioning their defenses. As you can see by Steeler fan reactions.

yeah, we are mostly spoiled and going 9-8 isn't good enough. Trubisky is going to do well, but I hate when we have an OL so bad that we can't run the ball. Najee is going to have 25 carries, 35 yards a lot this season.

@@PeterSedesse What it does is shorten his career, his talent still had him near the top of the league last year, but they’re gonna run him into the ground if they expect him to consistently be top 3 in yards after contact.

I was more impressed with Lions defense rather than the Steelers. There may be some bias but we just watched the Steelers starters struggle against Lions back ups. Lions gave up one touchdown versus a team that is a continuous playoff contender. Steelers played they starters the entire first half and you seen partial of the lions starters just on the first 2 series defensively and rarely any offensively. Lions have a lot of upside barring injury is all I’m saying

@@VanB yes I get that. Our defense didn't have all the starters playing the entire time either. T.J. watt went out and I don't remember seeing highsmith. It's also preseason so we aren't throwing actual defensive schemes. I am looking strictly from a talent perspective. Devin Bush also made a play here and there giving me hope he is getting some mojo back. Or offensive line is what scares me along with our secondary. I will revisit this comment for better or worse in the regular season.

Interesting to see Mitch the entire preseason most evidenced at the 0:47 mark of this video. And all Bears fans and media said he couldn't make these kind of throws. Mitch now actually has receivers that don't have alligator arms and hands of stone. Mitch would still be in Chicago today. To me Mitch looks like he is riding into this season with a six pack of of whoop ass. Ready to deliver to the haters.

STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU GO BACK AND READ COMMENTS FROM BEARS FANS LAST 3 YEARS about Mitch. Plenty prove that's a fib you just told. Just like ALOT of fans felt the same about Jay Cutler. He should've mentored Mitch instead of the 3 stooges.... Glennon Foles and Dalton.

I love the Steelers but they need O-line next draft for sure. LT and center are a must. The left side needs a whole overhaul. Trubisky & Pickett looked good, let's see what happens now.

The O line was selling hard, penalties galore and piss poor technique all around. The steelers wont have a good season if they don't address the elephant in the room.

Steelers looking good, Steelers in rebuild and they still look tough unlike most teams that lose a hall of same QB. Steelers should of had like 4 interceptions too. DBs need to catch better. O line needs to be better. Go Steelers!

I am in no way a peofessional football film reviewer and am asking out of sheer curiosity as someone whos still learning about football, @ 2:20 is it me or do I feel like more yards could have been gained (maybe even a touchdown) if #25 actually blocked instead of just running past the defender and looking backwards? Edit: My logic is if #25 blocked #28 then #55 could have blocked #77 leaving a clear lane to the endzone

Yeah, defenders probably aren't used to throwing blocks and perhaps he was worried about getting a penalty for a cut black/blind side block.

The Steelers have a deep quarter back group but Mitch should be the starter and I think he will be solid for them and Kenny is still learning OMG could we have a next Patt and lance situation could be good for them with either one of them it's gonna be tuff but Mitch could really run when he has a chance

But we know you'd be homeless. 1 playoff win in almost 70 years. Including the careers of Barry Sanders and Calvin Johnson. When you think of this game like a regular game that you NEED to win, the Lions were incredibly disappointing, but when you think of it as a preseason game that’s meant for experimenting, I liked what I saw from my Lions… for the most part. The defense cleaned up the messes made by the crappy offense lead by our awful backup QB’s. Loved seeing Okudah do well and the RB’s looked great. Questions were answered, which is what it’s all about. Now, time for Hard Knocks before the ball really gets rolling. Go Lions!!!
