To anyone wondering - these videos are not new, they were hidden in the game and on social media in from of Triangle QR codes. The videos themselves were always on the channel, just unlisted. This particular dev commentary is from secret room in Kollers hideout.

Definitely! I'm busy designing a character with that kind of hair. Did they use transparency maps? Or just good old polygonal shapes with the right kinds of specular/gloss/diffuse maps applied? Can anyone here help out answering my question? Thanks!

Polygons are made of Triangles and he's the lead graphics designer IIRC.
