My son would have been diagnosed with Autism. We tried the GAPS diet, he improved but NOTHING like carnivore. We have been doing this for 6 months. He no longer hits himself, he listens now, his tantrums lessened, he snuggles and loves on us❤ anytime we give him fruit I can tell. He will start hitting himself again and acting out. Thank you for this information. It changed our lives.

I've never shared this on any platform but I see more questions about autism and seizures. ..My 47yr old son was a premi left the hospital with cerebral palsy and epilepsy no one ever mentioned ketogenic diet. He has been Non verbal and has never wanted to be touched non reponsive to anything and anyone. I have cared for him to give him the best quality of life i could he had never been a sickly child 7 yrs ago he was diagnosed with diabetes and 5 more thing. The doctor asked me do you want me to control his illness or do you want to cure him? 🤔 😮 he told me you need to stop carbs and give him food just like God puts them on this earth. And give him MCT oil 2xaday that's it I went home googled MCT oil found ketogenic diet and went down that rabbit hole. 3 month later my son started literally reaching out to me he had never reached out for anything. So he would grab me and won't let go 😅 I was overwhelmed and small miracles have been happening to him ever since all his marker and levels are now normal to optimum I know he will never be able to recuperate from all the damage for no treatment and medications he has taken for all his life. But I'll take the little thing he can now do that have woken his brain up. If you have a child or person in your life with autism or epilepsy, the ketogenic diet and/ carnivore is a must don't give up. Other thing that have improved are less sizeures and he has recently started to make sounds. Life is beautiful with ketosis.

Dr. Chaffee, years ago I told two siblings, who each had a child with seizures, about the keto diet for epilepsy. Neither wanted to try the Ketogenic diet for their children who have been on drugs now for the last 18-21 years. One brother his wife were biochemists who worked in two different pharmaceutical companies...so, I know this influenced them not to try. The other just were influenced by their pediatrician. The movie "First Do No Harm" was my first exposure to epilepsy and this diet. What I learned after seeing this movie is that if the patient is on the diet in a strict sense for three years, they have in the great majority of cases healed their epilepsy. The fat is so important to the brain. Thank you for your videos.

For what it's worth. I'm no scientist, Md or doctor of any sort and so on. Nothing more then a 55 years old regular Joe. A life time dealing with a bunch of issues. In the past years really suffering from a myriad of serious issues. Pains, inflammations, diabetes, high blood pressure, head aches, fistulas (plural), boils, plantar fasciitis, etc. Even smaller things like dandruff, bleeding gums, sinus inflammations (45 years), etc. Newbie carnivore... Most of all on that list, are either totally gone or in ostensible remission! I call carnivore a MIRACLE! Yes, with capital letter! Now let the "doctors & scientists" continue the discussions. I know where I'm standing. Full stop. 🙂 Edit: If you're not aware. It's fast, simple, easy and even economical! What not to like?! LOL 🙂

Cramps?! Meat and a FAIR share of salt. It's that simple. Sarcastic story. First night on a new "temporary apartment". I wake up around 3.30~4AM, with awful cramps on my legs. So, I set a skillet on the stove, with some meat and lots of salt. In a few minutes the smoke alarm start shouting on full blast! Woke up the neighbors and my landlord upstairs. Who called me right away! I'll tell him that all is fine. I could only imagine what was crossing his mind. That was my first night in that apartment. Because my own house add BURNED down... :-| Fun fact: The cramps and the steak, both were gone in a few minutes!

Dental nurse here and I can answer Cheryl’s question, usually when gum disease resolves the gum level drops to match the bone level. Previously the inflammation covered the cementum of the tooth which is sensitive to hot/cold. This is a usual symptom of someone’s gums healing and we make patients aware of this before undergoing hygiene phase therapy. You can use a sensitive toothpaste to help elevate the sensitivity or go to the dentist to get it covered up with a more sturdy material.

If it’s not the inflammation covering the cementum, then what does cover it to prevent this sensitivity?
@MastererClark
@MastererClark Ай бұрын
Normally the gum is there to cover it, which sits on bone but when there is inflammation over a period of time that eats away at the bone levels. Bone cant come back so when the inflammation finally resolves the gums retract to a lower level exposing the lower part of the tooth. In the worst cases so much bone is lost there isn't enough to hold in the tooth and that's what they mean when they say tooth loss because gum disease.

Dr. Chaffee, I don't mind if you cuss. I used to be anti cussing until I realized how idiotic the medical system is and how many years I allowed them to do horrific things to me in the guise of ''helping'' that only led to more misery and suicidal ideation because of hopelessness. Once I realized that it's really a system of sickness for their financial gain, I went full mode potty mouth, mostly out of rage at all I had lost because of them. I have been going through a grieving process for the last 10 years trying to deal with the duplicitous hand we've all been dealt by people we were taught to trust. And TY for pointing out how stupid doctors sound when they attempt to make a case for not stopping pharmaceuticals but fear monger about a ketogenic diet, when the pharmaceuticals are not helping!! Bless you for telling the truth. We need to hear this.

Historically speaking Bitcoin doesnt do much immediately after the halving - but it does do impressive spikes and tops out around 18 or so months afterwards. No one can time the market, but I'd say it's worth considering entering a position at current prices and if further dips occur, just add to your position. Over the long run, there is a higher probability to the upside than the downside, .It's not about guessing the market's next move; it's about playing it smart and steady during trading...managed to grow a nest egg of around 2.4Bitcoin to a decent 18Bitcoin in the space of a few months... I'm especially grateful to Kerrie Farrell, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape...

Teeth sensitivity is due to the oxalate coming out. You have to push through until the area clears. Or you can slow down by adding some oxalate in your diet like chocolate or some carb. It will make it less intense during the process of clearing the body😊 my 2cents worths😎

Dr. Anthony Chaffee rushed through the clinic corridors, his white coat flapping behind him. He'd just finished explaining to a patient with psoriatic arthritis how a carnivore diet could potentially change their life. Glancing at his watch, he realized he had only 20 minutes to make it to rugby practice. As he hurried out, he caught a glimpse of his reflection in a window. His eyes were tired, but there was a spark of fulfillment in them. He loved his work, but sometimes the long hours took their toll. At the rugby field, Anthony's teammates marveled at his energy. "It's the meat," he'd joke, tapping into his seemingly endless reserve of ketosis-fueled stamina. After a grueling practice, he headed to his favorite local beauty shop. Sarah, the pretty stylist he'd been eyeing for weeks, was there. "Hey, Doc," she smiled. "Ready for a trim?" Anthony felt his heart race. "Actually," he said, summoning his courage, "I was wondering if you'd like to grab dinner sometime?" Sarah's face lit up. "I'd love to! But... I'm vegetarian. Is that going to be a problem?" Before Anthony could respond, a familiar voice interrupted. "Ah, spreading your misguided meat propaganda again, Chaffee?" It was Dr. Vegan, Anthony's arch-nemesis and a staunch plant-based diet advocate. Anthony's jaw clenched, frustration bubbling up inside him. "Look," Anthony said, his voice rough with emotion, "I've got a conference in London next week. Why don't we all grab a meal when I'm back? We can... discuss nutrition." As he left the shop, Anthony felt a mix of emotions - romantic hope, professional challenge, and the lingering frustration of dealing with Dr. Vegan. But as he bit into a juicy steak that evening, he felt his energy surge. Tomorrow was another day, another chance to change lives through the power of a carnivore diet. Packing his bags for the conference, Anthony smiled. He was tired, but happy. This was his life - hectic, challenging, but deeply fulfilling. And he wouldn't have it any other way.

Dr. Lustig also said that if you don't eat fiber to feed your microbiome, then your microbiome will eat you. That doesn't make sense because some who have been carnivore for 15 years and had a colonoscopy and their bowel was super clean, no problems. This whole thing is a bit confusing.
@Habanero777
@Habanero777 Ай бұрын
It won't be confusing when you stop listening to mainstream doctors. Fiber is nothing but pain and suffering. And your microbiome does not need fiber. It does not do a God damn thing for your gut. There. Are no good or bad bacteria in our gut. There is just bacteria until we Jack Our gut up and a certain strain or 2 Then take off and go wild. Thus the simplistic way, because people are pretty much stupid and simple. The doctors explain it as well, The bullshit you've been hearing forever. In order to keep our microbiome healthy, we need to Quit putting drugs, alcohol and deadly food into our gut and all will be golden.😊
@stephaniecatena7966
@stephaniecatena7966 21 күн бұрын
You’re right he did say that. I do know though that our microbiome changes when we go back to the correct human diet a.k.a carnivore diet. I would think they adapt very quickly and no longer need to feed in fiber but instead on fat. Hopefully Dr.chaffee will elaborate on that.

Your gut has linings, both static ('interoir skin' & muscle) and fluid (mucus). When you're eating a crap diet, those linings deteriorate, allowing not only toxins into them, but also gut bacteria. So when you stop eating the crappy diet, your weakened intestinal lining can be munched on by bacteria, bc it's defenses are down. You MAY want to add a small dose of fibrous carbs to alleviate symptoms until your gut heals. You MUST 😊 watch Dr. Berry's recent interview with Dr. Cates "Dark Calories". While many fervent carnivores are for making a total overnight change, Dr. Berry recognizes that switch is difficult when your metabolism is borked, and Dr. Cates has some fabulous remedies to help your body make the switch.

I made a mistake of eating salad last weekend at work, been feeling like am 9 months pregnant. Blotted and feel very down.. regretting why i made such a horrible mistake

I am Day 54 Carnivore, but I have kept my daily single cup of English Breakfast tea, which when I tell folks they tease me that I am then not doing full carnivore ! Sigh .. I may have to give it up to prove that I can, and to see how different (if any!) that I feel.

Sensitive teeth come from a magnesium deficiency. This isn't surprising that you're losing alot of magnesium as it's lost in detoxification, which can be heavy when starting Carnivore. Magnesium is our teeth's #1 mineral, before calcium, and a deficiency is why teeth get painful. You can dip your toothbrush in magnesium oil before putting on toothpaste, as needed, then spit out with paste. But of course apply the oil, or even take a mg supp orally, to do a full body replenishment. Great to use on tight/painful muscles and joints!

I had the tooth sensitivity and gum irritation initially as well. It was just my gums healing and losing the plaque behind the front bottom teeth. It wasn't bad at all for me, just noticeable. 5 months in and my gums and teeth have never been healthier. Oil pulling helps a ton too.

Doctors need to stop assuming that. First thing is to give patients the correct information. From there it can be their choice if they want to poison themselves or not. There could be rehabs for sugar addicts.

Well would you give a drug addict more drugs? Actually they do… they give them methadone. MDs and the whole medical industry needs to concentrate on proper nutrition first because things like most diabetes wouldn’t exist if those people were forced into that area of treatment instead of given a drug just so they can continue to put garbage into their bodies.

@@andyc7747 Thanks. I’ve read so many conflicting theories about Bacon here on the dreaded and confusing KZfaq. My GP (MD) here in England reckons it’s “definitely not healthy”!! When I questioned him, he explained it’s because it’s v high in sodium and therefore not great for my high blood pressure…which he said “definitely” contributes to CVD. He also said sternly : “Don’t believe everything you hear on KZfaq Stephen!”

I would think it depends on the diet of the pig. Example: i buy grass-fed red meat not grain-fed red meat. Nature feeds grass to the cows. Humans feed grain to the cows. If the pigs are free to roam and eat their natural diet not some concoction made by humans then i reckon the bacon is decent.

@@keithfrancis9293 Thanks. I totally agree. Trouble is (if many English pig farmers here are an example) even outdoor “pasture-reared” pigs (usually a quagmire!) are all also “supplemented” with nutritional pellets made up of Barley, Wheat, Soy, Rape and other raw materials such as Oats, Molasses, Fish Meal etc.

Sometimes, even when on a carnivore diet, you can still have a deficiency or a problem with balancing vitamin c. Not sure if the person with tooth sensitivity is PURELY carnivore or not, but if not, this may be the reason for the efficacy of using the low amounts from meat, but if a person is still incorporating things that are not considered carnivore the vitamin c competes. So, just add, temporarily a little more food based sugar free vitamin c, until the diet is more strict and then wean off of the vitamin c.
