Nice to see a video from you Mike. It's been a while. Dog has laid it's scent there. They will keep going back to it. We had a poodle do that and it took forever to get her to use the doggy door. I feel your pain brother! Hang in there.

Genuinely a real dog training method. Get a cinder block they can’t move. If they potty somewhere connect them with harness and leash to the cinder block. Short enough so they can’t get away from their potty and sit next to it for 15 minutes. They won’t go there again. It helps to play with them in areas you don’t normally go or bring them to establish them as play or used areas. They usually don’t want to potty in areas where they hang out. The other big one is their potty instinct is triggered by smelling potty and their noses are basically sci-fi levels of power and only stuff like vinegar and ammonia cleans enough on surfaces. Buy dog made shampoo if it’s warranted on carpet. You’re probably well past this, sorry to slam ya with factoids. Maybe it helps someone else.
